Indeed, its streamlined interface and intuitive controls allow users to effortlessly add lush string arrangements to their compositions without slowing down their creative flow.

An assortment of ARTICULATIONS
PowerStrings proffers an assortment of ARTICULATIONS, ranging from smooth SOFT LEGATO to crisp SPICCATO settings, so users can achieve the perfect expression for any musical idea. It is possible to speedily switch between them during a live performance using a controller keyboard’s lower keys, or even enable multiple articulations at the same time. The premium instrument in question also allows for independent pitch and volume per articulation, which is ideal for extremely easy layering, while all ARTICULATIONS have access to detailed — Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, and Release — envelope settings.

Get CREATIVE
Strings should not necessarily always sound like strings — certainly in the context of modern pop or cinematic music production. PowerStrings’ CREATIVE ‘tab’ takes its users into a brave new world of sound, one where they can, for example, make the strings sound like a synth using the CONVOLUTION settings. Similarly, FM (Frequency Modulation) controls are also available, as is control over HARMONICS. Applying a pleasant-sounding DIFFUSION to the proceedings is, likewise, all part of getting creative.

"Like nearly all the high end vintage analog synths we sell, this item has been METICULOUSLY disassembled, cleaned inside and out, FULLY serviced by professionals who’ve been servicing and selling vintage synths for more than the last 3 decades, and systematically tested multiple times over a long period to ensure it’s working exactly as it should. No BS. No ebay surprises. We’re perfectionists and don’t cut corners. Although this instrument came to us in relatively good shape, we want our items to be better than the rest and invested *many* hours of tech time plus parts costs to fully overhaul this unit so it would be clean, working like new again and as reliable as possible for its next owner. This was a serious investment of time, love, and money, and was definitely worth the effort and is of course reflected in the higher than usual price. If you’re looking for a great sounding example of this model that works just like it should without needing to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in tech fees and waiting from weeks to years, this one should make you very happy.

Our tech did the following work to this unit to make it better than the rest / promote longevity:

Power supply capacitors replaced.
Battery replaced.
Patches reloaded.
Cleaned all switch contacts.
Cleaned unit inside and out.
Installed new encoders to prevent the usual glitchiness one often experiences with original 40 year old encoders (changed ceramic caps in circuit for compatibility).
Cleaned key contacts and PCB.
Cleaned sensor.
Replaced pitch and mod lever potentiometers with new ones since the originals are often problematic these days.
Multiple systematic burn in tests to ensure stability.

"This is the ARP AVATAR. It is basically a Arp Odessy without a keyboard controller. It was intended to be used with the guitar MIDI controller pickup that I no longer have. my tech tells me that the Roland midi guitars or a Roland-style or any hex pickup will work. I used this with a Kenton box (midi to cv converter) which turned it into a tabletop synth module. I just had all the sliders replaced and it's pretty satisfying to play with.

It is from 1977 so it's not brand new. I just sent it to my tech to make sure it's all working and we decided to change all the sliders out. When I bought this 15 years ago it came in a road case that was deteriorated and left marks on the wood panels on the sides as seen in the pics. I did clean them up a little. If you are someone who is handy I am sure you could clean these up to look like new if you are inspired to do so."

"The first modular synth reborn and extremely accurately recreated. The last great creation of the Asheville, NC Moog Employee Owned company before it was bought out and it's fitting that it was also one of the first. This is the only fully discrete modular moog ever made. Im the original owner and it comes with just like it would brand new with its original box, accessories, patch cables and big bonus, matching Moog 953 Duophonic Keyboard which feels great and integrates with this synth seamlessly connecting just a single cable to the back. Fattest synth moog ever made with only a better power supply, works internationally, and more stable than the original. Save over 3k on this one. The only flaw that I can see is some hairline scratches on the back of the keyboard and a couple tiny Knicks on it as well. The model 10 looks untouched."

By combining the Model 101 synth/keyboard (the basic unit) with an expander (sound module Model 102), audio mixer (Model 103), analog sequencer (Model 104), and monitor speakers (Model 109), it became the current The SYSTEM-100 is a total system like today's all-in-one workstations.
The SYSTEM-100 dramatically expands your sound design options with powerful oscillators and filters, plus modular patch capabilities.

Combining the features of the original Models 101 synth and Model 102 expander modules in the SYSTEM-100, the modular routing capabilities allow for unparalleled versatility and incredibly fat sounds to be generated. When paired with the Model 102 expander, two VCOs and two LFOs were available, and sample-and-hold, ring modulation, and noise generators all worked seamlessly in concert. Its sound quality is fat and shimmering, a great sound that sets it apart from lower-priced models.

SEQUENCER104 Sequencer Model 104 is a parallel 12-step, series 24-step analog sequencer. Up to 24 steps and 12x2 parallel connections are possible, and it can be used with CV-compatible analog synths other than the SYSTEM-100.

MIXER103 Mixer Model 103 is a 4CH powered mixer. Equipped with a spring reverb, it is a perfect match for analog synths.

SUPERNOVA is a morphing FX processor for evolving soundscapes with a reverb at its heart.

We took the Reverb Diffusion Network from our well received SYSTEM FLOW Drone Synth and brought it to the next level with a modulated feedback drive + Notch filter. We also added a grain cloud, 6 LFOs and two Bit crushers. And a lot of presets

You can use it as a simple Grain Cloud/Reverb/Pitch Shifter/Bit-Crusher or make huge transitions by morphing between two presets.

The combination of all these FX modules and the possibility to randomize/morph all parameters gives you endless combinations for lush to freaky sounds.

Use the “BIG” MORPH knob to make HUGE transitions.
Feedback Drive is gain compensated so you don’t blow your speakers but you can still go berserk on your sound.

For lots of modulation and evolving sounds:

Draw your own waveforms for 6 different LFOs and use them to:.
1. Automate your Sample Rate / Mix of the Bit-crushers
2. Automate Feedback Distortion
