Curious if the Special Edition OS is this. Was there more than one? If anyone knows feel free to comment. Below is a pic of the Special Edition welcome screen on the DX7. I reached out to Retro Gear, and they don't know either. They just noticed the start up screen.

Update: pic of the chip added below. Note the chip reads SCR-7, while the OS link reads Special Edition ROM (SER-7). Guessing it's the same, but who knows...

Most of these are usually covered in scratches on the metal panel and/or have started to lose their shine....this one has not!

As you can see this Moog will come with a lovely red velvet case and plenty of the original documents . The owner's manual was damaged years ago and some of the pages are stuck together, but I wanted to pass it on the next owner regardless."
