1980 Dual Manual Prophet 10 Dual Mode

"Dual mode on the 1980 Prophet 10 couples the keyboards (behind the scenes), so either keyboard will play both internal Prophet 5s. In this video, I’ve combined mostly similar but not identical sounds to get a better representation of an actual instrument or combination of instruments. The synth has a fairly simple subtractive voice, so consider any sound I mention to have an assumed “-ish” at the end. The songs I’ve chosen are also representative, certainly not exact. All patches are mine. I hope you’ll consider watching the entire video and apologize for any ads you might need to endure. My videos are not monetized by me.

1:05 Starts with a basic woodwind patch, then layered with a woodwind ensemble patch.

"The whole concept takes place around two digital oscillators , Oscillator one is based on Wavetable , and the second is a wavefolder one . Several cross modulation options exist , and both are combined to generate chaotic modulations via a shift register, which is called Rungler.

Both oscillators are also combined by a comparator that outputs square waves with variable duty cycles . Further processing includes an MS20 filter, also with modulation options , and a final reverb capable of massive self oscillation."
