Long time readers of the site will remember CustomSynth's work in previous posts here.
What you might not have known is that he's part of an 80s synth band named MFBB.

TUNE THE WORLD - THE FLOWSTATE CONCEPT
The idea behind Flowstate was based on a video by Ayako Okamura in which she used filter resonance to “tune” field recordings to precise pitches. It was a nice trick, and seemed a fun way to introduce pitch to non-pitched sound. We used this technique for sound design in our Geosonics II instrument.
