"In Episode 2 of 'My Favourite Synths' we're taking a look at my favourite synth of all time, the Oberheim OB-8
I have used this Polyphonic Analog Powerhouse on nearly every original song, official remix, recreation and audio/visual project I have produced since I acquired it over 15 years ago.
And this is my longest video to date, clocking in at just over 30 minutes!
The OB-8 is recorded through a Universal Audio Volt 476 and the individual voice panning is set to about a 20% width.
Released in 1983, the Oberheim OB8 is a premium analog synthesizer with 8 voices of polyphony, the ability to split and double sounds, individual panning for each of the voices, 3 LFOs, Polyphonic Portamento and an Arpeggiator."

"Playing some fun & unique sounds on my Moog Muse. I did not use any external FX in this demo; all the delays, reverbs, noises & sound deformations are part of the Moog Muse engine / mod matrix. However, I used some EQ-ing on some of the sounds (no boosting, just limiting).

"The Bit-01 is a 6-voice programmable polyphonic analog synthesizer with digital control developed by Crumar. It is essentially a rackmount version of the Bit-99 keyboard synthesizer. It has two analog oscillators per voice that are digitally stabilized and controlled. Also on-board are resonant filters, ADSR envelopes and two LFOs. Fairly easy hands-on editing and a layer/split function make this a very useable poly-synth! The MIDI implementation is basic but useable and there are 99 memory patches. The Bit-01 is well suited for studio use and in all forms of electronic music."

"Vintage programmable & MIDI equipped preset 6 voice polyphonic analogue synthesizer. The JX-3P shares the same great analogue filters and VCAs as the JUNO and even the JUPITER series. Just like the JUNO, it’s a six voice polyphonic feeding digitally controlled oscillators (DCOs) through analogue filters, envelopes and amps. However, the JX-3P has two oscillators per voice instead of one. Made in Japan.
The PG-200 was designed by Roland to simplify programming for the Roland JX-3P, MKS-30, and GR-700, streamlining the process significantly. Even for those well-versed in analogue synthesis, the PG-200 opens the door to unexpected creative moments, often leading to the discovery of unique and inspiring sounds."
