"With the immense sonic potential of granular synthesis, Multigrain can transform your audio samples into everything from ethereal ambient drones to sputtering, alien machine techno, and virtually everything else in between. With ample assignable modulation inputs and real-time, performance-focused controls, the only limit is your imagination.

Part of a Nutritious Microsound Diet

Multigrain is an eight-channel stereo morphing granular sampler. Layer grains and sequence from the eight available Sounds—each one loaded from your microSD sample library, or recorded directly on the module. Each of the eight Sound Buttons plays grains generated from its own sample, and its own pair of Scenes—two completely different sets of granular parameters; a dedicated Morphing Fader and CV allow you to smoothly morph between these two Scenes. Dedicated Select, Next and Gate CV inputs allow you to sequence the playback of all eight Sounds.

Assignable X/Y/Z CV as well as an internal Random S&H generator, can be applied to any and all granular parameters at once. Assignable MOD A/B Outputs let you modulate other modules in time with Multigrain.

Projects and Presets allow you to save, load, and organize different sets of samples and settings. 48kHz 24-bit Stereo I/O and 32-bit floating point internal processing for Hi-Fi output."

4/10/25 Overloading an Alesis MIDIVERB II + ADR Pan Scan + SWTPC Psych Tone

video upload by Cfpp0

"I just posted a YouTube Short of the Multivox FR6M Rhythm Ace through the two Moog MKPE Parametric Equalizers, so this video is the last of the lower third rack tests after rewiring the patch bays. Some manual adjustments to the Pause Select switches on the SWTPC Psych Tone, which is running through the ADR Pan Scan, with some adjustments to the Pan Depth and Pan Speed. The Pan Scan outputs are hard-panned on the Mackie Onyx 1640 mixer. The Alesis MIDIVERB II is on an aux send and is fed a big dose of both channels. The MIDIVERB II blooms alone are worth the cost, but I love the way the MIDIVERB II overloads."

"OSCar Synthesizer. Factory Midi, Fully serviced in 2024 plus battery mod (remoting from board) Factory patches reinstalled. Latest M2 version. No issues. Superb condition, Level keys with no yellowing. All rubber sections in perfect condition. Small marks to program section otherwise would class the synth as Near mint. Sounds amazing."

"Oberheim 2 voice synthesizer in good working order. Serviced and cleaned by James Walker last week, so all ready for a new home. Cosmetically in good condition other than a bit of tarnishing on the fasteners (see photo). Nice synth, amazing sound - just downsizing and moving. Comes with a plug in transformer/adaptor. Not in second chance Sunday."

"Great early analogue monosynth, serial number 0723, actually called the OB-1A. This version has livery like the OB-X, and it's reasonable to assume that internally it is very much like an OB-X voice with much more individual control. It is in very good working order, with the keyboard re-bushed in the last few weeks. Cosmetically it has some minor paint scrapes - hence our calling it 7/10 cosmetically. An experienced restorer could probably spend a couple of hours and get it back to near-mint. This synth has one mod, quite neatly done on the sloping panel behind the keyboard: a switch to send pitchbend to the CV out, with a corresponding amount knob. Switchable voltage, currently set to 240V with a UK plug. It has the Tauntek CPU mod. Packing 15GBP."

"Rare Oberheim OB-1 from circa 1977. serial nr: 0523. In extremely good condition / close to mint. Fully working. Keyboard is newly re-bushed and plays like new. Has the Tauntek memory board installed, which expands patch memory to 64 editable programs in 8 banks of 8, (A huge improvement from the original 8 non-editable). -- An incredibly good and fat sounding monosynth with similar voice architecture to the OB-X but with extra features/ *Dual Sub-Oscillators. *Continuously-variable waveforms (can be modulated by Envelope or LFO). *Osc Sync (modulated by Envelope or LFO). *2pole & 4pole Switchable filter. -- European/UK voltage. Will be packed well for shipping."
