Industrial Pumping Thing
video upload by SCHLAPPI ENGINEERING and Stazma
"Schlappy Patching 2026 EP.8
Hey there!
Today I'll show you how to use to use the mono input (in 4) on Eddy to mix a massive kickdrums with your big industrial drones to make them pump. I'll end up making a full weird beat on the system and jam on it.
Have fun!!!"

Buchla TTA 248T MARF | Quick Start 'Manual'.
video upload by
"I think it's the first time I made a tutorial without actually using the module. I made two 'Building a MARF' videos where I'd use regular modules like Metropolix, Rene and Stages to mimic the workflow and it already had great music. My channel is educational and I love to make videos like this to learn the module instead of showing it off.
The 248T 'MARF' is a Multiple Arbitrary Function Generator, which translates to a freeform modular composer for melody, expression, and extremely complex movement over time. It's hard to find all that in a single module, so maybe this explains why the 248 is a panel.
If you don't aspire to own a budget Buchla from TTA, your closest equivalent is a Maths with Rene V2. If you have those, try to patch it up like a MARF and be amazed. Simply use cycles as clocks and use any X, Y or C channel for time intervals (to change cycle speeds). In my humble opinion, you shouldn't buy a 5K modular for making 16 step sawtooth sequences. It's about happy accidents and they don't happen if you stay on the path like a responsible musician."

Minimal Ambient with Gentle Electronic Tones | Shimmering Lines 2026-05-05 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"An ambient piece composed of gentle electronic sounds.
This work is created with @SONICWARE LIVEN Ambient Ø and @somasynths LYRA-8.
On Ambient Ø, phrases centered on sine waves are looped. Hand-played phrases are occasionally added.
On the LYRA-8, deep reverb is applied through the @strymon NIGHTSKY, and the performance includes moments where modulation delay is fed back."

Scott Lee of PAiA has passed away.
Left: Scott Lee via https://www.dignitymemorial.com
"Raised in Oklahoma City, Scott attended Putnam City Schools K-11, and graduated from Sausalito High School in CA. Following service in the U.S. Army, he parlayed his interests in engineering, music, and electronics into a life-long career with PAiA eventually becoming owner of the Paia Corporation."
And via PAiA:
"In Memorium - Scott Lee
MARCH 13, 1958 – APRIL 21, 2026
Scott Lee passed away with his family by his side on April 21, 2026. He loved PAiA and helping others follow their passion with music. He would appreciate if we all kept the PAiA legacy moving forward. Paia.com will temporarily remain offline as his son, Nathan Lee, works to get PAiA back to operation in any way he can.
We appreciate your understanding and stay tuned for more updates to come. We look forward to being in touch soon.

On a personal note, the PAiA Fatman was the first DIY synth I built. Like many, Scott Lee and PAiA were my first forray into the world of synth DIY. I am thankful for the help he gave me getting my soldering chops going. He will be missed by so many in the community.
