140 Bass Music | Elektron Machinedrum

video upload by Akihiko Matsumoto

"Machinedrum: Precision in Sound Design
https://akihikomatsumoto.sellfy.store...
Explore the unique sonic signature of the Elektron Machinedrum through a carefully curated sample pack. Every drum hit and loop is sourced exclusively from the original hardware, capturing the technical essence that made this digital instrument a cornerstone for experimental, industrial, IDM, and electronic music. Authentic Digital Character
The sounds reflect the early 2000s digital drum architecture, including its DA converters and computational synthesis methods. The result is a set of tones that are sharp, precise, and strikingly different from anything current software can replicate. Each sample retains the mechanical clarity and algorithmic complexity that define the Machinedrum experience.

Crafted for the Curious Creator
Even if the Elektron Machinedrum is new to your workflow, the textures reveal the innovation of its early designers. Founded with a focus on algorithmic sound shaping and sonic exploration, Elektron engineered a platform where every parameter contributes to its distinctive audio fingerprint. This sample pack allows creators to incorporate that unique character directly into their productions.

Continuous Expansion All files are delivered through Sellfy and automatically updated for existing users. New material is added over time, giving you access to an expanding library of sonic possibilities. Whether layering industrial beats or designing intricate IDM patterns, this collection provides a foundation that combines historical precision with modern flexibility."

Count by one

video upload by SCHLAPPI ENGINEERING and Stazma

"Schlappy Patching 2026 EP.14

Hey there!
Today I wanted to show a superb tension building technic that I use by clocking a Nibbler with a slow division of my clock / beat and set it to count just by one.

Have fun!!!!"

3 ways to get more out of envelope modulation

video upload by Monotrail Tech Talk

"A lot of synths have a two-envelope setup, often modulating the filter and VCA. But with a modular you can add a lot of interesting movement to a sound with creative patching. In this video I go over three different techniques that use a second envelope. To shape the transient. To add movement to the body of a sound. And to experiment with note-off modulation.

A New Korg DSS-1 editor | It's FREE and insanely good as well

video upload by Espen Kraft

"My sound patches: https://espenkraft.com
A free Korg DSS-1 patch- and sample editor — it runs in your web browser.
A tool I built to edit and organize programs and samples in the Korg DSS-1.
Tweak every parameter on screen, pull programs and multi-sounds/samples off the sampler.

It runs in a web browser (Chrome or Edge — not Firefox or Safari) with a MIDI interface connected to the synth. It works on PC and Mac, and under Linux.

It's my personal tool, shared as-is for anyone who wants it. I've included a PDF documentation/tutorial with the download.
I offer no other form for support.

You can find it in my web shop below (it's totally free):

A little music today. So I said the last one would be the last one on this channel, but.... Labyrinth is still cool, definitely still the 2nd best and delicious sibling to the Subharmonicon. I find more unique instruments like this cool, I will say, nothing beats the Subharmonicon as the true BOAT GOAT. I've never thought about what makes instruments like this so inspiring, and well it's more or less that it's so imperfect. I show off an attempt at a short performance with some Moogs, it goes, uhhhh fine. lol"

I used random samples on the Torso S-4 and accidentally made DnB

video upload by Andre Bregegere

"Welcome to Vol. 36 of my Torso S-4 Explorations!

In this session, I went in completely blind—no planning, no preparation, and zero pre-arranged patterns. Every sound decision was made on the spot using randomly selected samples across all 4 tracks.

Somewhere along the way, the jam naturally evolved into an unexpected Drum & Bass vibe, which made this session an absolute blast. The video is annotated throughout so you can follow along with exactly what I’m tweaking, modulating, and processing in real time.

🎛️ Post-Production Note:
The raw performance was recorded live, then lightly mixed and mastered in Pro Tools.

⏱️ Timestamps:
00:00 - Intro
00:20 - Building Track 01
01:09 - Granular fun
02:16 - Building Track 02

03:47 - Building Track 03
04:34 - Playing with FREEZE
06:04 - Building Track 04

"For this episode of Electronic Beats Tech Talk, we visited Pancratio in his studio to talk about music production, creative workflow, and his passion for vintage hardware. Born Gian Luigi Mendozza in Rome, Pancratio has built a unique sonic identity shaped by experimentation, texture, and a deep love for electronic music production. Alongside releasing a wide range of music, he also runs OTTA research lab, a creative studio where he helps other artists to develop their creative and artistic voice.
In this Tech Talk, Pancratio takes us through his studio setup, explains why old Akai samplers and the Cirklon sequencer play such an important role in his process, and shares some of his favorite synthesizers and production techniques."

Lihue Sosa [DAWless] | Streaming Sessions

video upload by LTGL Records

"This was a live streaming session in LTGL Records. Only with the Roland TR-8S"

Video description (Google translation below):

Googlish:

"Lihuel Sosa is a sound artist who creates both music and the instruments used to produce it. His sound occupies the realm of electronic music, ranging from techno and house to ambient soundscapes and noise. His live approach is purely performance-based: starting from a simple concept, he weaves his pieces in real time using hardware and machines, favoring tactile interaction over the computer.

This physical connection to sound drives him to design and build his own experimental instruments. These unique, handcrafted devices are not only central to his live set but are also made available to other musicians, extending his creative philosophy to a wider community of artists. In his work, the boundaries between composer, performer, and artisan blur completely."
