Hing hon is the manufacturer of the home keyboard. The "modular" aspect is essentially circuit bending with patch points.

"dementia labs circuit bent creation hing hon.has a 30 point bend contact patch bay coming out of the keyboard!The bends can be manipulatedon the fully loaded modular synth box patch the bends through switches and potentiometers.the synth box has an optical theremin that can be used on the bends found.it also has a stand alone synth with 2 vcos and a lfo.it has a 1/4 inch rca guitar jack output for both the keyboard and the stand alone synth. "The PPG EVU is basically a rack version of the Wave 2,3. Up until now it was however only controllable through the Wave keyboard or a Waveterm. Now thanks to a new iPad App from iContolMIDIDesign, and updated EPROMs (Version 8,3) from Virtual Music it is now possible to use any midi keyboard and control the parameters of the EVU using the iPad app. This opens up endless possibilities of tuning in and changing the existing sounds of the EVU. This particular EVU will be up for sale at Wavemeister.net"
