Patch notes:
Playfader controls the first channel of Digitakt in slice mode, with the Think break loaded. Moving the fader enables us to play different slices of the break, and the second channel plays a chord stab sample (but PF can also play lush chords over MIDI).
We add a sprinkle of Random Fun FX at the end of each bar to create some dynamic fills, then we switch to the Roll Fun FX and catch little loops at each press of Play, setting and changing the time division on the fly to mash up the beat pattern and bring the heat 🔥

He’s also using our unique Window Latch function to free up more fingers for playing. With Window Latch you don’t need to keep hold any button combos down along the top row. It’s a powerful performance feature!

PlayFader includes 7 FUN FX modes which allow you to take your patterns to extreme new places and back again at the push of a button… the FUN button!

"This is an original HiChord Portable Chord Synthesizer from the initial Kickstarter production run.

This unit is the unlocked cream/yellow colorway, which was only made available after the Kickstarter stretch goal was reached. It is not the current retail version and is no longer produced in this configuration.

The front panel is marked “Chord Synthesizer 1.0 Pocket Audio,” identifying it as the first finalized hardware revision delivered to Kickstarter backers.

The newer HiChord version currently retails for $350. This listing is for the original Kickstarter edition, complete and well cared for.

"Perfectionism almost killed this video, and for a second, I forgot about the point of #jamuary I recorded, and recorded, and re-recorded, and a few days have passed, back and forth, because I care so much about this sound, this vibe, this balance.
I am not 100% satisfied, but I have to let it go, because otherwise I know for sure I will start to hate these chords, I will have to tweak the sounds once again, I will change the video, and so on.
But I do love the resulting vibe, and I will try my best to bring variations on this theme in some live scenario, maybe with a different controller instead of the OPXY (which I am only using because it has midi via 3.5mm jack and... an audible metronome, I am looking at you, Torso)
