How "Kalimba of Doom" was made
video upload by HAINBACH
"I recently made a little 20 second clip showing the "Kalimba of Doom" patch I had setup on my TTSH and resonators. This gathered over 850000 views across platforms, and many questions came in about how I made this. So here is the sound design how to. Check out my Patreon for the sample pack: / hainbach"

Stereo VCFQ | Serge Modular | Episode 10
video upload by Cinematic Laboratory
"Serge Modular made the legendary VCFQ stereo. While having three inputs and six outputs, the AGC (Auto Gain Correction) and Notch out had to go. In normal operations, it's a true VCFQ which you can use in both mono and stereo patches. The AUX input can have dramatic results when self patched as feedback. I'll be using the VHIKK X in this video as the primary source, a source that doesn't need an extra filter to sound good. In fact, this creates the challenge of which module dominates which. In general, it's always the module that cuts the other one's frequency range. Finally, I'll use my mono VCFQ and the ST-VCFQ to process the X's L/R channels independently. Now the fun begins :)."

SOMA ROAT + Bastl Kastles: The Chaos Button Beckons
video upload by Infin-D
"I picked up a used SOMA Rumble of Ancient Times several weeks ago and have been messing around with this crazy little synth. The wonderfully noisy jams by @ImmerhinHalbzwo inspired me to finally do one of my own. The ROAT can sound lovely and melodic but it has this button labelled simply 'CHAOS'. Pushing it scrambles all of the parameters of the four synth voices in unpredictable ways, including how they react with each other. That's what's happening here, locking one or more of the oscillators into "drone" mode will sometimes cause a noisy, harsh modulation that is absolutely primal, hence the name of the thing.
Rhythm comes from the Bastl Kastle Drum, going through the Kastle 2 FX Wizard on the "Shifter" setting. They clock the looper on the ROAT and get some delay from the Korg NTS-1 MKii.
Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Melodic Techno | TeknoBaby | Giza | GS Music e7 | Moog Sub37
video upload by
"Can get some gnarly modern sounds from the e7. It has a very bright sounds and is well suited to Melodic Techno, especially those stuttering pitch bending sounds that are so popular at the moment."

Xenodrive and DB-01 twins (no talk)
video upload by Richard DeHove
"Why does the Xenodrive not want to let me go? I've had all sorts of good intentions for other content and other devices, stuff that I'm really impatient to show, yet here are we are with the Xenodrive again. I suspect it's down to two things: First that I've cycled through loads of dirt pedals and effects and rarely found one that has more than a single good sound. The Darkglass B3K for example has a brilliant effect on synths, but despite having four knobs and two buttons, it only has one sound. The Xeno has loads of flavors to explore. Second reason I am fixated on this device is that it's finally given me the 'punk synth' sound I've always wanted. Which is largely what we have in this video.
I originally had a big blabfest at the start of this video talking about the Xenodrive in detail but on sudden impulse I cut it all out. I think I was mesmerized by the Xeno and it was giving me instructions. I must exert my free will while I can. If my next video features the Xeno, send help.
Routing here is the MIDI out from the master DB-01 (left) to the rightside DB-01. The master DB-01 has an 8-step random-generated pattern, the leftside DB-01 is empty. Audio goes from each DB-01 to the Xeno left and right. As usual there is absolutely no other processing.
Many thanks to my kind patrons who keep this channel ad-free" My website: https://richarddehove.com/"

Hexdrums Deep Dive // All the tones!
video upload by Starsky Carr
"In this video I take a full deep dive into the Erica Synths Hexdrums – exploring every voice, tone, pattern function and performance feature to see just how powerful this drum machine really is.
From 909-style kicks and 808-inspired hats to dirty punchy snares, claps, rim shots, crashes and rides, we’ll go through all 10 drum voices in detail. I’ll show you how easy it is to build patterns, record live, use step programming, adjust exclusivity/fade between hats, and shape everything through the master distortion section for those gnarly, meaty, fat techno rhythms.
We’ll also look at:
✔️ Pattern selection & step sequencing
✔️ Live recording workflow
✔️ Multi-bar patterns (up to 4 bars per channel)
✔️ Individual outs on the rear panel
✔️ Master distortion section
✔️ Sample selection for cymbals
✔️ Performance tricks & groove ideas
If you’re into drum machines, analogue rhythm design, techno, electro, synthwave, or classic 808/909 workflows — this one’s for you.
This isn’t just a quick overview… it’s a proper hands-on demo so you can hear exactly what Hexdrums can do in real-world use."

Conceptual Techno Jam (DAWLESS) | Circuit Tracks + Circuit Rhythm
video upload by Underground Modulation
"🔥 Conceptual Techno Groovebox Jam | DAWLESS Performance
In this video I perform a conceptual techno groovebox jam built around custom samples and evolving rhythms. The track explores a deeper and more experimental techno atmosphere while staying fully groove-driven.
This setup uses two powerful grooveboxes: the Novation Circuit Tracks and the Novation Circuit Rhythm. Together they create a compact but very capable hardware techno setup.
Both Circuits handle rhythmic and melodic elements, allowing the track to develop organically during the performance. The Circuit Rhythm adds character through custom samples, while the Circuit Tracks provides sequencing, synth layers, and structural control.
This is a fully dawless jam — everything is sequenced and performed directly on the hardware using the Circuit Tracks and Circuit Rhythm. The final sound was mastered in Ableton Live to enhance clarity and punch while preserving the live energy.
If you enjoy dawless techno jams, groovebox performances, custom sample experiments, and live electronic music hardware setups, this video is for you."
Moog Grandmother mellow improvisation
video upload by VoxModula Archives
"In this video I was improvising with the Moog Grandmother, Mother32 and Subharmonicon. I love the Grandmother, best mono synth after the Moog pModel D in my opinion. I have sold the Subharmonicon and sometimes I regret it."
