4. Bimini Road - Audulus Patch - The Warpeggiator - "The Warpeggiator works by using keyboard input to control step values in a sequencer. The Warpeggiated sound is panned a little more towards the left - an unaffected keyboard input is more in the right. The the button turns feedback on an off, which uses the output of the sequencer to control the key input routing to each step (the Pattern control). Using the Touched Clock with the Warpeggiator allows for infinitely unique and grooving patterns, from the melodic and ethereal to the nasty and growling.

Ode to Egregious Burns - an Audulus 3 Composition
Published on Mar 5, 2016 Bimini Road
Get Audulus for: iOS | Mac | Windows/Linux
"This is a composition written in Audulus 3 using new modules. It also makes use of creative feedback through a Flipflop sequencer.
The patch uses two K!SS Drum modules per stereo channel and uses two Sub Ek mini sub synths for the voice of the song. Everything is controlled by CL!CK, the master clock, probability modules, and a couple LFOs are modulating some parameters. Afta8's tanh distortion modules round out the sound."

Audulus CS Looper Module
Published on Mar 6, 2016 Bimini Road
Get Audulus for: iOS | Mac | Windows/Linux
"This Audulus 3 module loops knob motions. In this set up, it is acting as a knob-controlled sequencer, turning recorded knob motions into 8 discrete pitches. CS stands for "Control Signal." This is to distinguish it from an AS or Audio/Alternating Signal looper (which would need 44.1k buckets for 1 second of loop time).
This module has 8 buckets, or 8 evenly distributed numbers that make up the entirety of the loop. An LFO controls which step is being read. Values are changed only when a change in value is detected from the knob. Under the "8 Bucket" text is a knob that acts as a "loop display."
The output of this module is multiplied and pushed through a scale quantizer to become the pitch information for Sub Ek, a mini subtractive synthesizer, that is clocked by CL!K.
Versions with more buckets are coming soon.

The DS and DGS Sequencers in Audulus
Published on Mar 8, 2016 Bimini Road
Get Audulus for: iOS | Mac | Windows/Linux
"New with Audulus 3.1: The melody and rhythm of this self-generated music patch is a product of the interrelationship of the DS and DGS modules. The DS modules are determining the pitches and modulating parameters while the DGS modules are triggering the envelopes. The DGS module is also feeding back into the DS module. The tempo and feel is largely a product of the way the DS and DGS modules are driven - in this case by 3 different self-modulating LFOs.

Mutable Instruments Plaits Audulus Drum Machine
Published on Nov 25, 2018 audulus
"This video is a short demonstration of Audulus' power to sequence the Mutable Instruments Plaits as if it were a drum machine using an Expert Sleepers ES-8.
Audulus sequences the CV changes for pitch and model to Plaits and triggers it in patterns.
You could do this with another hardware sequencer, but it would require at least 3 separate lanes to sequence everything. With enough outputs, you can even take control of every single Plaits parameter on a per-step basis.
You can also effect your drums on a per-step basis, sending your hat to a delay while you send you kick to an overdrive.
This video also features the Roland 512 VCO and 505 VCF, as well as the Erica Synths Fusion Tube Mixer.

Published on Nov 9, 2017 audulus
"This is a short demo of waveforms from the Doepfer Micro Precision VCO being mixed using the Erica Synths Fusion tube mixer. The pitch of the oscillator is being controlled by a 3D Sequencer created in Audulus. The CV from the sequencer is sent to the VCO using the Expert Sleepers ES-8 CV Audio interface.
The top waveform on the oscilloscope is the audio before delay processing, and the bottom waveform is the audio post-delay.
