"Covering one of the greatest synthpop songs ever. It is said the main lead was made with a Yamaha DX synth layered with some other. I realized that the DX7 IIFD only does the job.

"'My Secret Garden live at Hammersmith Odeon' cover. I also played the intro (Oberkorn) just like they did back in 1982. No sound was sampled from the original recording.

Kurzweil PC1x (also triggering Arturia Jupiter 8V).
Emu Emax II.

I used three pedals: sustain for the Roland JP8000, Volume for the Kurzweil internal sound and a momentary switch for preset change in the Emax II.
I also used the RPS (realtime phrase sequencer) in the JP8000 (Sequence at Oberkorn's end).

Backtrack previously sequenced and recorded in Pro Tools.
* There is a momentary digital noise at 00:32. It should happen at the time of rendering the video.

I was up to revisite this instrumental cover I've already made twice in the past. As I liked the arrangements for the upcoming Wonder Woman 84 movie OST (Hans Zimmer me thinks?), I decided to play New Order's 'Blue Monday' again, building a backtrack more faithful to the studio version in combination with some of the OST arrangements.
