"First video of the year, and #1 of the Jamuary (1 quick jam for every day of January). Here I've just messed with the patch nr. 2 of the Arturia Minifreak, which is a lovely pad. It's going through the Hologram Microcosm, plus some added saturation with the UAD Ampex plugin."

"Another old vintage synth that I've had in my studio for some time, but never really had the time to explore it for real, just recorded this while messing around with the buttons and faders of this interesting poly synth, sounds like the perfect synth for pads and strings in the 70s, beautiful synth, I wish it was less bulkier, and had less of a 70s piece of gear (it smells weird after turned on for a few minutes haha)"

"Finally got my hands on this one, a bit rare these days, vintage mono little beast from the 70s (late 70s I think) made by Korg. It's a bit unconventional, as it's from the times when there was no real standards on synth nomenclatures, so each company had their own "words" for stuff like "Cutoff Filter". (Here it's a horizontal fader called "Traveler", which also controls the resonance). I hope you can hear on this video how beautiful this thing sounds, in. my opinion, it really shines on leads with vibrato, it can get very expressive, for something with so little controls.

The M500 is going straight to my audio interface, there it's going to an emulation of a tape echo (UAD Galaxy Echo)."

"Hans Zimmer is one of my biggest inspirations in Music, and Inception is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I've always wanted to reproduce the soundtracks of this movie. Here I "cheated" a bit, by using the original soundtrack, and pitching it down, making it slower and lower-pitched, before I started adding synthesizer layers on it. I've also processed the original sample to add a lot of ambience.

The synth I've used is the DSI OB-6, and these patches I used are all standard patches, which are among the reasons why I've bought this synth, definitely one of the best poly synths ever made"
