The Octopus Project - Music Is Happiness

YouTube via brokencircuit. Anyone know what keyboard she's playing? There's a shot of it at 2:51. Definitely a home keyboard, but I'm not sure which one. Theremin comes in at 1:38.

Amplitude modulation on the Blofeld

via Boele of SCD.

"This file [AMonSinus.mp3] shows a single oscillator (sinus) where the level is modulated by an LFO (also sinus) on high speed. (Around 140 Hz). The oscillator is also FM-ed with a fast envelope to give it a little more punch at the start. Not bad at all for a digital synth!"

"Then again, nothing beats a good old Memorymoog :) Let the beast run a very slow arp, add an even slower delay and long reverb, dim the lights and voila! memorysphere.mp3"

You can find the sysex for the amplitude modulation patch here.

VEMIA - Moog Vocoder

"Very rare and sought-after, and in excellent working condition, serviced last week by James Walker at Synth Repair Services. 110/240V switchable. James' report: 'As you can see the unit is not in good cosmetic condition but is 100% functional (though the switch labelled Hiss Buzz has an extra stop (i.e. 4 instead of 3 ) which does nothing). The pics should show the damage to the rack ear on the right hand side (someone has glued it back on and painted over the crack). It seems to hold but I haven't racked it up. The other ear is missing the handle and as seen from the moog logo looks like it is a right hand panel on the left hand side.' These side panels were a clever design which was interchangeable, so maybe spares are still available. There is some scratching to the bottom left of the front panel - see pic - but otherwise the front panel is much much better than the sides! Copy manual can be included."

VEMIA - Gleeman Pentaphonic Clear

"A very late entry, this incredibly rare machine has just been discovered in the storage area of the remains of one of the largest collections of vintage synths in England, if not the world. It is believed to have been fuly working before storage, but hasn't been tested since its re-discovery today. If there is a bid on it, it will be shipped (it has its own flightcase) to a competent tech for a thorough service and calibration, so will be sent to a buyer in perfect working order, with all the work done at the seller's expense. This means there may be a delay before it can be sent to the buyer, but that would be expected to be no longer than two weeks maximum. 110V US power supply, so transformer needed."
