Buchla 291e Resonance

YouTube via boobtube356
"The 285e Balanced Modulator is self oscillating and feeding the ALL input of the 291e Morphing Filter. Filter section B output is being mixed with A output and being sent back to A input. Filter B output is also being mixed with filter C output and is being sent back to C input. The ALL output is being monitored. Adjustments are made to the three filter frequencies and band widths. There are many possibilities, and this is just a taste. I start with all three filters at bw=0, alter the frequencies of all three, then do the same with bw on other settings."

ROLAND D-50 HQ SOUND DEMO - DIGITAL SYNTHESIZER 1987

YouTube via AnalogAudio1
"The Roland D-50 from 1987 is a classic digital synthesizer with great sounds. It is the most successful synth from Roland.

It has a very useful joystick, similar to Sequential Prophet VS or Korg Wavestation. It allows realtime balance of the sound ingredients. It also helps to vary the sounds, so that the sound programs must not sound every time the same.
This is very important, because the D-50 ist very hard to program without the programmer PG-1000.

I played the D-50 without any additional effects. The FX came all from the D-50's built in FX processor."

"Here is the intro to the other video where you can see me with the actual unit. No trickery here. It is just hard to hold the camera and patch at the same time."

"Here is another raw footage demo of the modular for sale.
The sound sucks, but the same recorded good session is on the other video. A possible client requested the actual knob turning video. So here is the cheeze."
