Hybrid Hacked Vocaid Incantor

"A rare hybrid device by both Tommy Stephenson and Patrick McCarthy. They don't usually collaborate on the circuitry of their various devices. Both artists inserted custom circuitry and Tommy painted the exterior."

Modular synth with vintage drum machine brain

YouTube via bubagoo | September 10, 2010

"This is a few pieces of modular synth gear all hooked together. All analog circuitry. The star of this video is the drum brain chip. I just found an awesome old chip used in 1970s era home organs that adds drum beats like ROCK and BOSSA NOVA. It's called the LM8972. I wired it up and used the different rhythm outputs to trigger drum sounds and various envelopes.

Minimoog Voyager XL Product Page is Live

"Designed in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Minimoog, the Minimoog Voyager XL is a sonic powerhouse that pays homage to important milestones in the Moog synthesizer legacy. It starts with the heart of a Minimoog Model D. Fat oscillators and warm Moog filters give it that unmistakable Moog sound and the rugged construction and intuitive user interface design immediately tells you that you’re playing a high-quality musical instrument.

From the current Voyager lineage, the XL inherits a 100% analog signal path with stable oscillators, patch storage, touch surface, pot mapping and extensive MIDI control functionality. To all this, add a ribbon controller and 61 note keyboard and you have a monster analog monosynth built on a 40 year legacy of sonic exploration."

HellsBellsounds - When you fall

YouTube via Bellringerbeats | May 05, 2010
The audio is a bit low to start on this one but gets better.
"This is one of my songs that I adapted for live performance with my ipod. In this performance I am triggering the vocals using buttons within the OSCemote ipod app, then using the XYZ axis of the ipod to control reverb, delay and a filter on the frozen reverb. I am utilising OpenSoundControl data streaming technology to send the data from the ipod's accelerometer to my custom built PD patch.
All of the music is my own original music."
