Tetrax Plays Creature

Published on Mar 26, 2013 d4nnyp·17 videos

"Patching a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax with a Serge Creature/Gator.

Lots of cross modulating stuff, pressure/release from the barres sends CV, some FM both to and from creature, sample and hold into Tetrax, yada yada.

Sound is from both Creature and Tetrax."

SynthTronica

Haven't featured SynthTronica in a while.

I forgot that Nick already post its Review...
So, here is a New Video of SynthTronica and my description...
Synthtronica was amongst the first synthesisers that I purchased on the App Store, and I must say that I never deleted it from my iPad. Why? Because I love it. Why? Because of the generated sound, because of the big Filter Pad which can be used with as many fingers as you have (for me, it's 10). Note that that I really love to use this Pad as a Percussion Pad (watch the second Video Demo). I also love the way you can shape your sound with Formants (you can record any sound within the App and you can backup all your Presets via iTunes File Sharing). Also that you can import Backing Tracks. A mini Mixer allows you to mix it with Live sound. Synthtronica is a Killer synthesiser, easy to use and with an original UI. I know that some of you will say that it hasn't been updated for a while (April 2011) but it will be updated! The developer is implementing the Virtual Midi feature and certainly more features... So, once again, Synthtronica is Killer analog synthesiser!!!"

Waldorf Rocket - ZergPad (Experimental)

Published on Mar 21, 2013

"***please note: this is kind of a tech-demo - do not expect more! ***

trackinfo: i just finished SC2:HotS and was amazed by it's sounddesign. i loved just sitting there and listening to the zerg-world while in intermission screens. so i gave my new Waldorf Rocket a try, created a simple 4-note pad-sound and a track containing the Rocket while tinkering with its VCO/OSC and filters. it's so nice to work with an analog-synth!

(soft)gear used: Logic Pro 9 (and it's build-in plugins)
(hard)gear used: Waldorf Rocket

LEGAL: entire musictrack is (c) by me. usage of the track or parts of it is not allowed without permission ( mailto: yt@farbw3rk.de ). anyway - if you give credit to me i probably won't say "no" ^^.

Waldorf Rocket Soundcheck 2 especially brutal Sound
Published on Mar 9, 2013

"Listen to the speaker killing sound of Waldorf´s new baby...the Rocket. Be carefull with your speakers...believe me.
Try it on good speakers! If you dislike your neighbour, try this...
There is a little bit of reverb on it. It sounds amazing. It is only Rocket´s Arpeggiator playing and I´m noodling the knobs a little bit :-)"

Roland Juno 60 and Roland JD 800 in the Mix HQ Audio Demonstration

Published on Jan 28, 2013 MrSynthmania·16 videos

This song was made only with a Roland Juno 60 and a Roland JD 800. All strings are coming from the JD 800 and the moogish Leadsound and the arpeggio comes from the Juno 60. Other sounds like Drums and FX are from NI Battery. Some FX are generated with an ARP Axxe and the Juno 60. The guitar was recorded live."
