"This Unithas the old oscillator board. Serial number is 55XX. this synthesizer is in fantastic cosmetic condition. I recently had the key (gold plated) spring contacts cleaned and new bushings replaced. Ihad the keyboard completely clean and aligned. New power chord and a complete(27 piece) set of NOS knobs included (some of the old knobs still stuck) ."

"Grendel Drone Commander, a hand-built Dual Oscillator Analog Synthesizer housed in an amazing Ammo Cartridge Box. This is an incredibly expressive synthesizer, and includes the Original Power Supply and Owners Manual. Please read the description below, and also check out the Youtube videos. Snatch up this one before I plug it into an analog delay and change my mind !

With a total of 9 knobs, the Drone Commander offers two manually-tuned oscillators and two LFOs, plus an unusually colorful and nasty filter. LFO1 is an analog variable-shape oscillator, and LFO2 is a pulse waveform that auto-synchronizes to LFO1 at a ratio of 2x, 4x, 8x, or 16x. Both LFOs can be routed to the filter for rhythmic patterns. A line-level output jack is provided for connection to amplifiers or effects.

Six of the Drone Commander's nine knobs double as push-pull switches to control signal routing and waveform selection.

The Drone Commander is housed in a dark green military ammunition case with engraved aluminum control panel. The case is welded steel with an easily removable, rubber gasketed lid. There is almost no plastic in the drone commander! It measures 10″(w) x 7″(h) x 3.5″(d), and weighs about 6 lbs.The unit is powered by a 9V battery accessible through a slide-out drawer in the side, as well as a 9VDC adapter.

Filter CV input (0-10V) and clock pulse output (+8V) are now standard features."

"Here is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a Buchla 281. This module was recently removed from my system and has been tested fully functional. It is super awesome, and will be a great addition to any Buchla system. Original 200 series modules rarely ever come up for sale and i have never seen a 281 for sale publicly so don't miss out! This module has been converted to a current EDAC type power connector and can fit into a modern Buchla system. This module is an odd module, the faceplate is original, i believe the PCBs are newly etched (i'm not 100% sure on this but it's slightly more yellow than my other two 281s, which makes me think it's newer), the components are modern as are the knobs."

"Here is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a Buchla 280. This module was recently removed from my system and has been tested (unlike the recent 280 listed on eBay) fully functional. It's really a fantastic module, and will be a great addition to any Buchla system. Original 200 series modules rarely ever come up for sale so don't miss out! The nice thing about this version 280 is its higher voltage than a 281 (15V VS 12V) so it drives a 292a or b rather nicely! It's "LFO" range is wider than a 281 too, it goes both faster AND slower than a 281!! This module has been converted to a current EDAC type power connector but if needed can retrofit to the old style box if needed..."

It sounds beautiful, and will be a great addition to any Buchla system. Original 200 series modules rarely ever come up for sale so don't miss out! This module has been converted to a current EDAC type power connector but if needed can retrofit to the old style box if needed. When i got this mixer the monitor section was not hooked up so i installed new switches and switch caps (the yellow row) if you have a monitor bus in a 200 case you will have to add a (purple) wire to the EDAC.."
