Sherman Destroys Miami

Published on Nov 6, 2013 AudioCentralMagazine·175 videos

"Sherman Filterbank 2 is destroying/filtering the fairly hot signal of Acidlab MIAMI drum machine. Both filters are in lopass mode, with high resonance and envelope and FM and AM and LFO and the whole enchilada on a free run fiddling session over the front panel. No music, just real time varying Sherman controls against MIAMI drum machine."

Polyphonic A-115 sequences

"It is possible to turn a Doepfer A-115 into a nice little weird sequencer. The result is often somewhat strange but always interesting; And it is also possible to play polyphonically the sequences created ! Some reverb added for a nicer sound."

My First Pure Data Patch by BrontoScorpioMusic

Published on Nov 6, 2013 BrontoScorpioMusic·5 videos

"I just found my very first Pure Data patch! I made this a few hours after I got PD some months ago.

It's a really silly patch, but it sounds surprisingly "good" for such a simply probability based thingy."

Manhattan Analog CVP Control Voltage Processor

"The CVP (Control Voltage Processor) is a +/-5v offset, glide (slew) and a bipolar attenuator. There is a two-color LED present to provide a visual display of the output signal (+Red/-Green).

The multiple output provides a buffered copy of the input signal. It is configured to drive multiple inputs with no signal drop. The twin outputs are configured in the same way. The total gain is trimmed to exactly 1.00, making the module suitable for use with pitch CVs.

This thing will allow you to scale, invert, offset, and/or slew a signal - and then send it to a half-dozen different destinations without any voltage drop. It'll do portamento on pitch CVs without wrecking the v/oct scaling; I've tested it successfully driving up to 6 VCOs in unison. It'll show you exactly what the signal's doing with the LED. And it'll do all that while providing a buffered copy of your original input signal for you to take elsewhere in your patch.

Features

+/-5V Offset
Glide (Slew)
Bipolar Attenuverter (Can go plus and negative)
Two Color LED for Plus(Red)/Negative(Green) Output"

Manhattan Analog 4HP Mix Module

"The Manhattan Analog Mix is a 4hp Eurorack module designed primarily for clean, high-quality audio mixing.

It is DC-coupled so that it retains utility as a CV mixer when necessary. Under the hood it's a dead-simple op amp mixer with three unipolar inputs and an output which can be switched between uni- and bi-polar operation with a jumper on the board. The inputs use audio-taper pots and the output is linear to facilitate
both modes of operation."

MacBeth Bomber Demo 2

"Here is another demonstration of the M3 x MacBeth Mk1 modules configuation that I call Bomber! 'Bomber'......to bomb the bas with! IUt's worth noting that this mini system is comprised of just one oscillator- Mk1 Oscillator 'B', 1 x Filter 'B' and the Dual EG Module! Here I experiment with this time a Roland MC505, using the D-Beam controller- going to a Kenton MIDI to CV controller.....the infamous Pro 4!"

"In this demo we go through some of the features of the Future Retro MondoVox with Korg's most recent line of analog monosynths. The Mondovox turns these 3 MIDI capable monophonic synthesizers into a 3-voice, 8 oscillator polyphonic synthesizer with 4 independent filters!

The Mondovox takes polyphonic MIDI data and translates it to so that each voice is on its own MIDI channel. This allows for new ways to engage a spread of monophonic synthesizers or anything with MIDI! This can include multi-timbral, polyphonic, or virtual synthesizers.
