Obsoletetechnology Low Cost CV-Gate to Midi Converter

"The circuit is mainly based on an analog to digital converter with a midi output. It is intended to be used with analog sequencers, modular systems or signal generators, wherever a conversion of analog signals into Midi messages is required.

The module provides 3 CV-Gate input channels and can be configured to handle these 3 CV-Gate input channels as monophonic or as polyphonic input sources, either generating 3 independent midi Note On/Off messages with different midi channels, or in poly mode, generating note messages on one common midi channel.

Additional to the CV-Gate inputs, the module provides 2 more input channels for CV signals, which are converted into Midi CC messages."

High School: Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies.

More details available at: http://stevemostovoy.com/portfolio/to...
Code available at: https://github.com/stevemostovoy/Touc..."

"It’s an Arduino Mega based Digital Audio Workstation that I created with my partner Tim Boyle Jr over 9 months, from 2010 to 2011.

Hardware
Arduino Mega 1280
Maxim 7224 8-Bit DAC with Output Amplifier
Longtech Optics LCM1602A 16×2 LCD
Philips HEF4794B LED driver
NFM-7881 8×8 LED Matrix
4-Wire Resistive Touchpad
Putting together the hardware was months of work. We started with breadboard designs to test the circuitry, and eventually moved to a vector board and a project box to get the project into its final form."

How to play "Separate Ways" by Journey Keyboard Piano Synthesizer 80's Music

Published on Jan 2, 2014 synthartist69·1,184 videos

"Here is my version of Separate Ways by Journey. These guys are one of my favorite bands of all time. Maybe Neil or Jonathan will give me some tickets and back stage passes for publicly announcing my Journey passion! I wish! Okay, as for the song, I do my thing as always, not sure if my left hand is doing what JC is doing but it sounds good to me. My bouncy octaves on the left hand get out of sync with the drums halfway through because the drums do not have time to roll over after the break, so use your imagination there.. haha I used my OBXa Jump patch for this because I like the power of it....the punch and sustain verses the actual patch that was used on the song which has way less sustain. I believe that Jonathan Cain used a Jupiter 8 here. So here it is in three segments for you to learn if you wish! Thanks for watching!"
