"Demonstrating how to use the start, stop, rate, and trigger controls.
Many people have given me Micro Synths to fix that were not really broken. They are just confusing to use.
Note the position of the sliders in the video, and see if your Micro Synth makes similar sounds.
I have my guitar's volume and tone controls at maximum. Make sure yours are too.
Different pickups will send different levels to the "trigger" (TRIG slider). If you flip the pedal over, there is a small hole which you can stick an appropriately sized screwdriver into and adjust the internal preamp gain for use with anything from a weak single coil to an active humbucker. If you bought the pedal used, the previous owner may have adjusted this.
But with the TRIG at "10", this shouldn't even matter, as the slightest signal should send out a trigger.
I think misunderstanding the trigger is the #1 reason why I get so many working Micro Synths in for repair. I guess a lot of people just leave it on zero."
