via the seller: "It was built using the SMR4 Filter. There are two modifications that I made to this unit. The first is apparent from the pictures. That extra knob on the front is a volume control, VERY handy. The second modification was to lower the input level gain, as the default resistor value was set to a very low impedence that did not allow certain line-level devices I owned to work well with it."

"Sleeping Pills is a feature-length motion picture that takes place in the 20th century's final days and follows a few American Gen-Xers' search for paradise.

The film is best described as "Shoegaze Cinema," as there is very little plot or dialog. Slow, long takes of the character wandering in a suburban landscape are typical here. (The director probably watched one too many Jim Jarmusch and Wong Kar-wai films.) Nonetheless, the film's ambient tone begins to hypnotize the viewer by the second reel.
The bittersweet moments nicely capture America's pre-Columbine and pre-911 innocence.
