"Sightings" - Z8000 + Plog + RCD + Wasp HP vcf

Published on Jun 28, 2014 Strange UFO Music·50 videos

"Extra Photos from a strange sighting in the sky at a location in the Bridgewater Triangle.

New modules used, the Intellijel Plog, used as a multicomparator. The 4ms RCD breakout module which I built myself from the kit.
So rarely are high pass filters featured, especially only 12dB (2 pole) ones. You can hear in the beginning, the Doepfer (EDP) Wasp's HP Vcf start wide open and slowly closes (to about 9 oclock), and at the end of the piece, the HP filter is slowly opening fully (clockwise) as it began.

Eurorack modules used:
Analogue Solutions VCO SUB
S/T E350 Morphing Terrarium
Make Noise Maths v2 & Function
Tip Top Audio Z8000
Intellijel Plog
4ms RCD & breakout
Doepfer A124 & A130"

"Holy cow! This is Tony Brock's Simmons SDX, in working condition and with a full set of disks and 7 SDX pads! This is the Fairlight of drum synthesizers. Only 250 were built and who knows how many have survived.
The main unit comes with its original flight case, in which it will be shipped. There is a snake cable for the pads and a power cord (not sure why two are pictured, sorry!). The only thing lacking is the cable for the snare pad, which is unique, but shouldn't be too hard to make. There are no stands or other hardware with this set. Since this is a vintage computer, it is sold as-is. Any damage claims will be handled through the shipping carrier.

From Simmonsmuseum.com:

"16bit 44.1kHz sampling unit. independent computer with monochrome display, trackball, floppy and operating system. 16 inputs for so called zone intelligent pads, 16 outputs. Optional internal hard drive, scsi interface, up to 8MB ram.
The chassis consists of a a heavy steel frame with a welded on grip and a sheet metal tub that holds the electronic boards The upper covering is made of coated plywood. Lifting the chassis reminds me of the Star Wars scene where dieing Darth Vader lifts his helmet: Under a real exclusive piece of industrial design there's an ordenary ugly computer doing its work."

"Received the Moog Werkstatt-01 today. Seriously, this thing is awesome! It doesn't do much, but what it does is huge. The drums and sequence are all from the Eurorack. Around 1:30 the Werkstatt comes in."

28-06-14 Daily Loops with the Yamaha AN1X

via Los Sabios Duendes on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"Hello Matrix Friends! This Month in The Daily Loops Project have been working with my new synth: Yamaha AN1x, an instrument which he had wanted for some time and after a long search I got it. All loops of this month were created solely for this great synth, no EQ or effects, the direct sound from the synth to the audio interface. This is the loop today. On Monday I will post the playlist with the production of the month! Greetings from Barcelona! Marcelo Acosta."

"IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you use this loop in any creation you must remember that is published under a license: creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/
