"A demonstration of using outboard FX via Audiobus on an iPad connected via an iConnectMIDI4+ to a MacBook running Studio One Pro 2 and Sgenerator to modulate the MicroBrute Metalizer to build up a spacey / ambient / experimental patch sound.

The MicroBrute audio is sent using the Pipeline Stereo plugin to the iPad and then to the UltraChannel plugin strip in Studio One.

SGenerator is used to modulate the Metalizer CV in on the MicroBrute.

(BTW: I appreciate the sync of the FX vs. the MB is off in a couple of places - I was playing things live while tweaking :-) IRL I'd also send appropriate sync everywhere as well)."

Demo of the Casio MT-100 in original state (not circuit bent). The MT-100 is a typical Casio of the mid eighties. The distinctive feature of this keyboard is the built in graphic equalizer. It can be routed to the keyboard or to the drum section (not the accompaniment). It has a switchable "fake reverb", which can be found on many organs. The analog drums sound very nice - like a typical seventies rhythm box. A nice, portable keyboard with good sounds!"

"This is my first quick test of the new Moog Sub 37 Tribute Edition synth. Recorded into 4 tracks of Ableton Live, all sounds you hear are the Moog Sub 37 exclusively (including the simple drum beat.) I did add a touch of delay on the lead synth sound using the Strymon El Capistan dTape Echo pedal. I also included the "Light Show" mode at the end of the video; synchronized with a patch I programmed."

"Another quick test of the Moog Sub 37... nine tracks recorded live into Ableton Live.

All sounds including the beat are from the Moog Sub 37 only (with a touch of delay from the Strymon El Capistan on two of the synth parts.) I tried to show a wide variety of sounds, from classic soft leads to crunchy distorted bass, as well as some filter and modulation tweaks.

And this time, instead of recording me actually playing each part (which is a pain in the butt to do) I thought I'd spare you all from having to look at my ugly hairy arms... and show more of the Light Show mode! As always, a good pair of headphones are highly recommended."
