Triadex Muse

"This is a super rare Triadex Muse from the early 1970's is pretty good condition. Less than 300 were made. I've replaced a couple of the little light bulbs that were burned out (they are not very bright anyway), and cleaned it up the best I could - I'm skilled in electronic repairs and restoration BTW.

I've never seen inside one before this, but it appears someone else had done some repairs, so not knowing exactly, I left it alone. It works great though.

The knobs on the 4 slide pots are missing but that doesn't affect its function. It's a bit fragile, in that it's mechanical wooden design is rather poor - not something you'll want to tour with! ;-) , but it's sturdy enough for casual play in your studio..."

"Up for sale is Korg M-500 Micro-Preset vintage analog synthesizer, one of the most earliest and rarest synths Korg produced in the '70s. This one is a super rare version that Korg made under the name of Victor, which has different coloring to the genuine Korg M-500, although the synth itself are exactly the same.

The unit appears to be working fine, all the keys and sliders and buttons worked well to the best of my knowledge. Maybe a slight bad contacts on some of the switches, which could probably do with some adjustment/servicing..."

"This Jupiter 8 analog synth is in great working condition and very nice physical condition. The display is in nice condition as well. Includes professionally installed Encore MIDI kit which adds MIDI, doubles the number of memory patches from 64 to 128 and adds sysex dump so patches can now be saved to your computer instead of cassette (not bad for a synth made in the early 1980's)."

BURG - Lighthouse (Roland TB-3, TR-8, KORG volca, Strymon)

Published on Aug 14, 2015 ollilaboratories

"So, im currently preparing for a live gig, a fund raiser charity event together with my friends here in KL 23/8... I took the opportunity to record when im jamming/prepping with my new Roland TB-3, sort of making it the focal bassline in this track. Man its really hard to blend the basslines together with the Volca bass, not using a EQ on either one of the bass synths. :)

Not much to say about this one, its 126 bpm, techno style, 4 on the floor with some classic BURG vibes :-) As always no multitracking or computers involved.. pure hardware straight into 2-track (zoom Q4) BoOoM!

ps, live event im prepping for: https://www.facebook.com/events/56327... - check it out and share some love!

Gear used: KORG volca bass x2, sample, keys, Roland Aira TB-3, TR-8 (the system-1 is not used on this track), elektron analog four.

FX: Strymon timeline, mooer reecho, jomox t-resonator, kaoss pad"

New Korg Electribe Sampler Quick jam

Published on Aug 14, 2015 Shimanski Beats

"My first jam with the brand new Korg Electribe Sampler! I ordered it in October 2014, and now after 10 months I finally have it in my hands!
This is the result of my first playing around and getting acquainted with this groovebox. I used stock samples (with some tweaking) and programmed some sounds with the internal synth machines.
All sequences are original.

STG Soundlabs - Mankato Filter

Published on Aug 14, 2015 DivKidMusic

"Here's the eurorack version of the STG Soundlabs Mankato Filter. It's a got a ring of 8 outputs which are each pole of the 4 pole low pass filter. Giving you a 6dB 1 pole filter, 12dB 2 pole filter, 18dB 3 pole filter and the 24dB 4 pole filter. There's then phase inverted outputs for each of these creating a quadrature oscillator and LFO. The unit crosses each path of filter, oscillator and LFO really well and there's plenty of inputs for mixing signals in and CV.

Future Sound Systems Spectral Devastator Drone

Published on Aug 14, 2015 Matthew Shaw

"Drone study using the Future Sound Systems Spectral Devastator.

Three sine waves are going into a Doepfer A 138 mixer, then into the Spectral Devastator. One of the sine waves is modulated by the Intellijel uFold, the Fold section is modulated by a slow triangle wave. A Make Noise Rene sequencer slowly modulates the cutoff frequency of the lowpass section, reverb supplied by the Doepfer A 199 Spring Reverb."
