"Here's a 1984 Chroma Polaris Vintage Analog Synthesizer. Synth is in excellent cosmetic condition for its age. Has brand new membrane panels so it's AS NEW. Only showing very light signs of use mostly on the wooden sides. It has been fully tested and inspected by a pro tech only a month ago and it's working flawlessly. Comes with original manual, sound tapes, 2 sustain pedals and power supply. Previous and original owner used it in his smoke-free studio. Never got out for a gig.

Great sounding analog machine in perfect condition. A rare find.

Serial number : 300109 Made in Japan"

"Here is your opportunity to own a Moog Source monophonic analog synthesizer in very good condition. Unit looks nice and works great. Membrane switches look excellent and work perfectly. Dual VCO's with 24dB Moog filter produces earth shattering bass and searing leads at your fingertips. The Source is probably the closest sound you can get to a classic Minimoog D at a fraction of the cost of a Model D."

Note the ribbon controller on the side panel.

Recently tuned and calibrated in 2013 at The Analog Lab in NY. This is a late 70's Minimoog produced in either 1977 or 1978 based on serial #. This instrument is truly unique and features several modifications:

Tuning knobs for oscillators 2 & 3 have been replaced with military grade Vernier knobs which provide both coarse and fine tuning of the oscillators. Turning the knobs with no pressure provides fine tuning, while pushing in gently and turning will provide standard coarse tuning.

A dedicated LFO has been added for modulation purposes with selectable triangle and square waves! This LFO will oscillate at a maximum of 30 Hz for audio range modulation. Perhaps most importantly, the addition of this LFO frees up oscillator 3 for audio purposes.

A dedicated pot has been added to the mixer section for overdriving the filter.

A ribbon controller from a Polymoog has been added to the left side of the instrument to handle pitch bend. The pitch bend wheel itself is routed to filter cutoff. The idea behind this design was to allow the player to bend pitch, open and close the filter, and apply modulation simultaneously from the left hand control section.

On the back panel are CV ins on 3.5mm jacks. While these jacks look like they would be convenient for use in a eurorack modular system, please be aware that these accept +/- 15v signals!

Unit has a few minor nicks and dings in the wood casing, but is in overall excellent condition for an instrument that is nearly 40 years old. Of course, because this is a true analog instrument with discrete VCO's, it takes some time (at least 15-30 minutes) for it's tuning to stabilize . . . . but once it does, watch out! It's an absolute beast!

Includes hard shell flight case with padded interior. Serial Number 3925"

Rephazer - OP-1 REC #1 (Teenage Engineering OP-1)

Published on Nov 12, 2015 Rephazer

"Hi All,

So as I've already stated in my previous video (Battle for Harmony) I would upload some 'un-enhanced' OP-1 stuff and after jamming on my OP-1 yesterday evening I recorded these 2 tracks on the OP-1 'Recorder.'

Today I listened to the 2 tracks again and was thinking if I should give it the same 'treatment' as Battle for Harmony, but decided to leave the tracks as is.. so these are raw exported from the OP-1.

Maybe it's not the 'Rephazer Quality' you are expecting and it's a bit minimal, but I just like the lo-fi, noisy, 12-bit like, dark and cold tones out of this device.. It gives me the chills in a good way :)

I hope you'll also enjoy it !
I'll probably make more of these raw 'OP-1 Records' in the near future.

Thanks for listening/watching and please feel free to leave comments."
