Q173 Gate Math Module

The Q173 Gate Math module divides and multiplies gates and clocks, produces random gates, sequence patterns, drum patterns and various irregular patterns. Four separate outputs are individually programmed with hundreds of possible options.

Six configurations can be programmed then selected manually or via voltage control. Each configuration selects the options you've programmed for each of the 4 outputs. This allows you to easily switch between divisors or patterns.

Gate output options include Binary which has a 50% gate time, Trigger which has a short 5ms gate time, and Gate which duplicates the width of the incoming gate. The output can be switched between normal and inverted polarity, and the S option causes the first incoming step to be skipped. This allows for an amazing array of possible output patterns.

Each of the 4 outputs can receive its gate/clock from the IN jack, or from other outputs using the Source setting.
Setting options is easy - just set the desired option with the top knob and the three toggle switches, then press the Set button for the output you want to program.

The Simple setting provides quick access to divide-by-2, 4, 8, 16 at the 4 outputs.
Without a plug inserted into the IN jack, the Configuration knob and jack operates as an internal clock source to drive the outputs. This clock is available at the Thru jack. This allows the Q173 to be used as a stand-alone gate sequencer, random gate source, or drum pattern generator.

The Q173's wide array of features and programmability makes it powerful and unique."

"For sale is a pair of Aluminum (Jupiter 8 style) ends/cheeks/sides for a Roland Juno 106. They have a linished/brushed finish and have a satin feel to them. These are in second hand condition with a few minor scratches and blemishes but are otherwise in excellent condition.

The synthesizer featured in the photos is obviously not included."

"KOTELNIKOV is a Wavetable oscillator with analog amplitude modulation and built-in multimode transient generator making it a self-contained voice module.

This is the first demo, briefly showing some abilities, waveform variety. More are to come.

The unit in this video is controlled by two sequencers: one is Doepfer A-155, generating a 8-note melody sequence, and second is Thonk Turing Machine, generating random sequence, which changes the selected waveform at the beginning and at the very end of the video."

"We started a band. Some of my good friends who all make musical stuff, decided to start doing more things together. We call it Involved in the Troubles. What better song to do as our first song as a band, than Aquatic Ambiance from Donkey Kong Country? Hope it was worth the wait!

Josiah, Rich, Austin and I have been joking about starting a space folk progressive post metal band for a long time. It was always one of those, 'we are laughing, but everyone really actually wants to do this thing' sort of things. We hope to do more covers. We hope to do originals. We just want to make shit together. Involved in the Troubles. More coming soon, probably."
