Novation circuit meets modular synth
Published on Jun 29, 2017 theonetrueaen
"Ever wonder about integrating a Circuit with a modular rig? ME TOO! I ran the midi out from the circuit (just the first synth voice) into the Critter and Guitari Melody Mill, and sent the resulting pitch CV out to the Pittsburgh Modular Double Helix, and Make Noise Telharmonic. I ran the gate signal to the Double Helix, 4MS PEG, and pittsburgh envelope. The envelope opens and closes a VCA for the telharmonic's audio. The circuit and modular are all mixed in the rack, and sent out to Propellerhead Reason for recording.
This is my first crack at this, so forgive me if it isn't as SUPER COOL as yours would be."

"Hard to find Sequential Circuits Prophet T8 synthesizer. It's an eight voice, 16 oscillator polyphonic synthesizer with one of the best keyboards ever made. 76 Wooden keys with velocity and polyphonic aftertouch, the same as used in the Synclavier synthesizer. The T8 is just been serviced and in good working condition now. The service report is part of the sale. The factory patches are been installed too. The serial number is: 1008-000465."

"Serial # 1000-3675
Flight Case included. Near Mint.
This item has been in a smoke free studio since it's purchase in the 80's. Never gigged with. As you can tell from the photos, she is a beauty with very little wear (some minor dings and scratches) It sounds amazing and is fully functional minus a few hiccups:
1. As with all of these Prophet's, the bushings on the keyboard have worn out so the action is janky as is. BUT, I'm including a brand new set of bushings with lubrication. Unfortunately I don't have the time to make the change myself, but one can change the bushings easily and in less than two hours ... see youtube.
2. Two of the LEDS are out: OSC B SAW & Unison --- both buttons still function ... the leds are just burnt out.
3. In the Wheel-Mod section, the PW A button is stuck. Easily remedied by opening the synth up and unsticking it.
Other than than those minor problems the synth functions beautifully and sounds glorious. The synth looks and sounds flawless minus the minimal wear from being almost 40 years old. Make those small changes to the bushings and unsticking the button, and this synth is close to Mint."
