Break out that old MicroKORG or just dust it off & power up!
Always cool, loaded with killer VA synthesis & VOCODER!!!
I still think the KORG MS2000 & MicroKORG are excellent,
they have never let me down! What a BLAST TO PLAY! :)
In this demo I tweak my favorite Original Presets:
BASS, Pads, Sweeps, ARPs & FX.
Some tweaks are quite extensive! YEA!!!!!

Dave Smith Instruments In the Spotlight with HAN LUIS CERA (MUTANT-THOUGHTS) and the Tempest

The latest Dave Smith Instruments "In the Spotlight" series features HAN LUIS CERA (MUTANT-THOUGHTS) and the Tempest.

"Mutant-Thoughts is an experimental alternative synth-rock band formed by Han Luis Cera (vocals and synths), Joshua Lennox-Hilton (bass and backing vocals) and Tom Pearmain (drums), with an electronic, eclectic, eerie vibe, and strong rhythms, as well as beautiful melodies. On a constant search for new sounds, grooves, harmonies and textures, Mutant-Thoughts have worked really hard on building original and interesting sound. Using the Poly Evolver and Tempest, together with bass and drums, this band is able to transform our surroundings into a completely new reality which is perceived with detail in the music. They released their first album with electronic versions of what they do live, and now they are releasing their first studio EP on the 7th of September in the UK and will be released on BandCamp."

"60Knobs might look like a shuttle´s control panel but in it´s core it is a midi-controller, designed specifically for the Sonic Potion’s LXR drum machine. On top of that it is capable of controlling any device with midi input and external parameter control possibility. Also it can handle some more tricky and less common control protocols such as NRPN or SysEx.

60Knobs is available only as a DIY kit, so you have to build it on your own using your very own hands and stuff. It comes with preflashed microcontroller containing the firmware with a factory preset for the LXR so you can start making dope beats right away.

"Zeeon is a virtual analog synthesizer, powered by an advanced analog circuit modelling engine. We spent a lot of time analysing iconic analog synths, both vintage and modern, to find out which parts of the circuit contribute most to their specific character. We used this knowledge to create a unique synth, with focus on what’s most important - the pure, organic and detailed sound. Many analog synth emulations sound dull. Not Zeeon. We take care of the entire spectrum range from deep lows to sweet highs. All audio and modulation signals are processed at 176 KHz (4x oversampling).

• Audio Unit v3 and standalone application with a simple polyphonic step sequencer

• 2 oscillators with continuously variable waveforms, hard-sync and sub-oscillator. Carefully simulated analog drift and PSU influence.

• Effects unit: Circuit modelled BBD chorus, bass booster, zero-delay Phaser, Stereo delay and Reverb.
