"EML 500 is a monophonic analog synthesizer with dual VCOs The dual VCOs offer square, sawtooth and noise waveforms. VCA envelope section with controls for attack, decays and sustain Includes envelope repeat for drones. The VCF section has switchable low-pass, band-pass and hi-pass filtering and resonance. The LFO has 6-waveform shapes to choose from. Other features include ring modulation and amp modulation, octave up/down switching, external audio inputs (to the VCF, ring/amp mod and VCA), a sustain pedal input and CV/Gate external control. It also has a controllable preamp stage built in. Also has a scaling feature to change the tuning scale between notes."

"New Year Gift : Ping Garden Software Instrument

Happy Chinese New Year! We wish you a great fruitful 2021. Here is a gift from us, it's called Ping Garden, a software instrument utilizing Mac multitouch pad as playing interface. It uses filter pinging and FM for sound synthesis.

When I was working on Wing Pinger in last year's CNY, factories were closed during the holiday, so I learned a bit of SuperCollider to kill time. That's how Ping Garden was born.

Ping Garden makes rain falling sounds with gestural control density. Here is a small video of me playing it. Hope you enjoy.
