Oregon Coast Dreams - Synth Bliss

"Sometimes a place leaves a musical feeling within. The Oregon Coast is such a place. For this reason, I wrote this synth track to capture it. Enjoy the ensuing Badalamenti Wave. #synth #soundtrack #oregoncoast
Used Ableton Live, Samples From Mars and Arturia to make the music you hear. A looping pattern of overlapping melodies reminiscent of Twin Peaks, run their course until some shy string machine pads come into play.

"A little demo track with the fantastic new Wingie 2 from Meng Qi Music.
Two resonators that are getting excited by audio inputs.
In many ways its a very simple box but it has some magical and musical secrets hidden within.
This track is really just Wingie 2 being excited by a beat from Circuit Rhythm. Wingie is also being handed a MIDI sequencer from Circuit Rhythm to form the Chord progression.
Wingie is set to the String algo and I genuinely love the way a heavy input overdrives and 'blows out' the sound."

"Decided to make a little top-down shot video with no eurorack this time around. I was using the Neutral Labs Elmyra which I built a few weeks ago, as well as the Moog Subharmonicon for some chords, and the Moog Mother-32 for percussive melody. Hope y'all liked it:)

Philip Glass Tribute - Piano, Bells, Organ, Cello

"This is my Jamuary 2022 finale! This track was inspired by the Glass Piano by Spitfire audio which was sampled from the personal piano of Philip Glass. I tried to pay tribute in the contrasting duple/triple piano rhythms, the swelling 'pipe organ' (here played on my Alpha Juno synth), and the tuned percussion (here a kids bell set). I wish I could have performed the string part for the video, but I'm sans violin right now, so I used another Spitfire sample instrument. I didn't nail the moodiness of Glass but I'm feeling pretty triumphant about finishing Jamuary, so that was unavoidable.
At the beginning of January I had thought I might bow out mid-month but I'm glad I stuck it out for all 31 and I REALLY appreciate all of you who followed along. Definitely had fun and learned a lot, but it'll be nice to take a break ✌️
