The racks are ridiculously high now and I think we’ve finally reached our limit. We’ve pretty much got everything Metasonix and Zerosum Inertia have made, and we don’t really need more tube modules. But all of the sudden we started selling again on Reverb, so we got a used Bard Frequency Vault on Modwiggler. I was curious how it compares to the Metasonix RK8 Filterwall. This particular Frequency Vault is wired to a tiny power module and an external power supply to heat the tubes, so we’re able to run it off of a 4ms power supply, along with the 2050 module and the TX-1 clone, which also have external power supplies for the tubes. This video is the first test of the module, with the 2050 audio output running into the main audio input on the Frequency Vault and one of the stereo outputs on the Frequency Vault running to the TX-1 clone."
