Although the EaganMatrix Micro (the least expensive EaganMatrix sound engine-based product) was originally intended for use with the WARBL wind controller using CME WIDI Bluetooth wireless Midi Host, With the right USB Midi Host (here iConnectivity MIO which is the one I find always works best) you can play/control the Micro with any MPE controller onMPE channels up to your preset's max polyphony (or standard controller on channel 1)."

This system is a fantastic way to explore experimental music without being paralysed by choice when trying to build a Eurorack setup from scratch.

"A video describing the features of the soon to be released Beta version of the Dual WaveBank Overlay for Electra One (MK2) controller - that abstracts EaganMatrix programming and lets you concentrate on configuring sounds using controls you are used to (in fact you could never program these features into a single EaganMatrix preset on the Osmose as only six Macros are available for on-board presets. But Overlays ex[pand that greatly allowing for complex synths to be created from a single EaganMatrix preset. Sorry - it's the video's here sound but I think you still get a good idea of the feature set. This describes the version that will run on the Expressive E Osmose.

Note: This only runs on the EL1 and only on the MK2 version due to resource limitations of MK1. It cannot be ported easily to any other platform as the Lua code uses many EL1 specific calls, though the EaganMatrix Overlay preset (dualwaveosmose.mod) used by the Overlay could be reused by another application that could add a similar feature set. All these features come from one single Osmose preset running on the Osmose - controlled by the EL1 Overlay application."
