"This is a portamento module I designed and built. It's based on a Harry Bissell design for seperate attack and decay control portamento. I added a gate controlled on/off switch. it has separate 4 channels. and I etched an image of Ziggy Stardust on it as nod to Attack and Decay also being called Rise and Fall."
Fun sequence!

The Electronic Peasant Banjo Processor

"The Peasant is a banjo player, and so thought that it would be very interesting to use a banjo to control the analogue synthesizer. A number of years ago a pitch-to-voltage convertor circuit board, designed for guitar use, was purchased from fellow DIY enthusiast Harry Bissell. This pcb only used the bottom three guitar strings to extract the CV output, and so it was decided to expand the board to work with all five strings on the banjo."
You can find more info at The Electronic Peasant. Be sure to see the rest of the site for more.

AHMW 2006 Shots Part 2

i'm sure all of you are interested in pictures of where we ate, what liquor we drank, what our room looked like, what harry bissell looks like without his hat, who is buried in the parking lot of the angola meijer, etc. there's even pictures of a great motel to get murdered at, where to buy espresso in angola, and an historic african-american lakeside resort. the first and last couple of photos are in IL, oglesby and utica respectively."
Thanks Suit & Tie Guy! I think. ; )
