"Doodling for the folks on eBay.
via this auction
Drums: Tiptop BD808, HH909, Hexinverter Mutant Snare, Teenage Engineering PO-12.
The Filter can be quite overdriven from Eurorack Modular. I tried to show a clean filter here - not that the distortion isn't nice tho."

The RCA-jacks are gone. Instead you get proper jacks and a 3.5mm one for eurorack fun. The outs are parallel but the ins are only one usable at the time (the 3.5 when two are plugged). The input sums into the filter which sounds raw!"

via this auction from dope.ass.female

"Realistic (in association with #moog #moogmusic) Concertmate MG-1 analogue mono synth. Unit has been fully restored (see pictures for invoice). That includes: recap, calibration, the infamous 'black gunk' removed from every slider and pot (required desoldering every switch as well), tuned to concert tune, and the outputs modded from RCA to 1/4". In addition, the pad was removed on the outs so it pumps out approx a +4 balanced signal instead of the quieter/noisier standard -10. Also includes original box in good shape! This thing is in excellent condition cosmetically. Studio ready! $850.00 obo. PayPal accepted."

BURG - the forest where we died (feat. KORG monologue)

Published on Mar 12, 2017 ollilaboratories

"If you like my stuff, please support me on http://music.ollilab.com/

Yesterday I went o a big shopping spree.. i finally got my hands on the eventide space pedal AND the KORG monologue.

This being one of the first proper tracks i have put together in 2017 it took some time to get it right, spent almost a full two days jamming and setting things up. When i recorded it, it all went down in just one go... The monologue plays a cenral role in the track, and helps build the tone and beat throughout the entire track, really a lovely synth.

The tune is very dark, it is a reflection on life and death.. and an answer to where we will end up when we pass away.

Gear used: KORG monologue, ms-20, SQ-1, volca, bass, keys and fm, Roland Aira System-1, TR-8, elektron analog four, circuit (just sequencer), makenoise 0-coast, microbrute, MG-1, dreadbox erebus, NLA1, beatstep pro, reface CP

FX used: eventide space, strymon timeline, bluesky, el capistan, mooer reecho, skyverb, catalinbread CSIDMAN, Kaoss PAD, ms-70 CDR, red panda particle."

"The MG-1 was built by Moog for Realistic (sold by Radio Shack). Very good way to get some Moog sounds... It is is an analog synth, Designed by Moog with a genuine Moog filter. It can produce sawtooth, square and pulse waveforms, and the oscillators are detunable and syncable. An envelope called contour can be applied to both the amp and the filter. Another section provides triangle or square wave patterns as well. A slider on the far right side of the keyboard controls the volume of polyphonic organ sound. There are RCA inputs and outputs but no external speakers. Works great and it's in immaculate shape for a 35-plus year -old synth."

1982 Realistic Concertmate MG-1 SN 17 557 with Original Box

via this auction

"For sale is this vintage 1982 Realistic Concertmate MG-1 analog synthesizer by Moog Music. Incredibly well-preserved, this specimen includes the original box, the original packing supplies, the original manual, and even the original headphone jack plug! This example, serial number 17557, has been completely serviced and is in perfect working order. The foam, though intact, was removed from the circuit board cavity to prevent notorious gunk-related slider degradation in the future. All sliders, switches, and pots were also cleaned and lubricated. Additionally, the synth was calibrated and an entirely new matching set of slider caps were installed. Tons of fun in a pint-sized package, this is a really great analogy synth for the money!"

Note this unit appears to have been listed back in 2013.

Realistic (Moog) MG-1 Concertmate Monophonic Synthesizer SN 13053

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Classic Moog 2 VCO Monophonic Analog Synthesizer distributed by Radio Shack under their 'Realistic' brandname.

Has a lot of the build of the Moog Rogue. Monophonic with 2 VCO's and that 24db Moog filter!

Good physical condition.

Moog Basses, Leads, Sound effects!!!

***NOTE*** the built in Polyphonic organ tone does not hold tune. This has been the same for the 8 years or so that I have had it and it never bothered me as my interest was always in the 2 VCO's of course ! A simple re cap of the power supply capacitors is a common restoration step and may well fix the organ tone issue if you wanted to take that route.

When I first bought it I cleaned out the slider pots as there was a known issue with the lining turning to goo and blocking up the sliders. They are mostly a bit crackly due to lack of use, and when I want to have a play I give them a gentle spray with contact cleaner and all good. It would be a simple job for anyone with a little electronic experience to give them another clean out, or through more regular use, they would likely clear up themselves.

It is a shame to let it go, as I have a few old mono's and nothing I have matches the Moog filter.
