Redshift 6 - Multitimbral 6-Part Techno Tweak
video upload by Supercritical Synthesizers
"Redshift 6 - Multitimbral 6-Part Techno Tweak
All sounds in this demo come from the Redshift 6. The kick was sent out dry from the main output, while the other five parts — including the hi-hat, rumble, two LFO-bleep tracks, and a backing synth track — were routed through the auxiliary output. The aux output was fed into a Zoom Multistomp MS-100 pedal for delay and reverb.
With Redshift 6, multitimbrality is always at your fingertips. Its user interface is built from the ground up to enable a seamless workflow between mono- and multitimbral setups.
Under the hood, Redshift 6 is always multitimbral—there’s no need to switch to a specific multitimbral mode. A new multitimbral synth part can be activated with just the push of a button. Voice allocation, polyphony/paraphony, group settings, and other parameters are easily configured in the Parts view.
Multitimbrality allows Redshift 6 to function as multiple independent synthesizers. Each part can be polyphonic, paraphonic, or monophonic, and each can have its own unique character."

Redshift 6 - Multitimbral Sound Demo
video upload by Supercritical Synthesizers
"Supercritical is thrilled to unveil multitimbrality for the Redshift 6 — a powerful new feature that makes the Redshift 6 more versatile than ever.
With six-part multitimbrality, the Redshift 6 can now assign its voices in multiple ways: split across keyboard zones for traditional polyphonic setups, layered to play rich, combined textures, or used as six independent one voice parts. Thanks to its paraphonic architecture, those one voice parts can still be played as full chords.
The update also unlocks the Redshift 6’s two auxiliary outputs, allowing individual timbral parts to be routed separately for more flexible mixing and sound design.
You can try the multitimbral Redshift 6 yourself at Superbooth 2025 — visit us at Bungalowdorf B020 in Berlin.
The multitimbral beta firmware is available now on the Supercritical Discord for all Redshift 6 users."
Redshift 6 - Superbooth 2025 Sound Demo
video upload by Supercritical Synthesizers
"Hear all our multitimbral Redshift 6 presets for the Superbooth 2025 — no talking, just pure playing.
These presets showcase a wide variety of sounds, from classic analog poly-synth layer splits to rich single-layer textures and one-key wonders.
The Redshift 6 is a 6-voice analog poly, but with 16 oscillators per voice, it goes far beyond the capabilities of a traditional 6-voice synth. Each voice can be played paraphonically, significantly extending the overall polyphony.
Thanks to its flexible voice allocation, voices can be used in splits, layers, or as fully independent parts — each with its own MIDI channel and controls. In essence, every voice is its own synthesizer. And with paraphony, even a single voice can become a polyphonic synth.
All the sounds in this demo are played live using a single Redshift 6, with no external FX.
Huge thanks to Novation for the Launchkey 61 MK4!
The multitimbral beta firmware is available now on the Supercritical Discord for all Redshift 6 users."

Multitimbrality Comes to Supercritical Synthesizers Redshift 6
Redshift 6 - Multitimbral Techno Tweak video upload by Supercritical Synthesizers
"We are super excited to introduce multitimbrality — it makes the Redshift 6 more than six times more powerful than it already is.
On this demo, we put the Redshift 6’s new multitimbrality feature to the test.
The multitimbrality is currently in beta testing, and this demo uses the beta firmware. The firmware is available on our Discord server. You can join our Discord to access beta versions of the firmware, discuss technical details and development of the Redshift 6, and share demos.
The Redshift 6 is six-part multitimbral, and the new multitimbrality feature makes it possible to assign its six voices in various ways.
The voices can be split into traditional polyphonic keyboard zones, layered across multiple parts to play simultaneously, or, for example, used as six monophonic parts. Thanks to the Redshift 6’s paraphony, these monophonic parts can also be used to play chords.
This demo was recorded live using the Redshift 6’s main and auxiliary outputs. The Dub Chords and Reso Chords were recorded in stereo from the main output and AUX 1. The bass line and noise were recorded in mono from AUX 2.
When the parts are panned left and right, the Redshift 6’s three outputs provide six mono outputs, allowing each of the six parts to have its own dedicated output.
All the synth sounds in this demo were recorded live from the Redshift 6. The drum and FX sounds are samples, created using only the Redshift 6. These samples were sequenced in a DAW after the live tweaking.
We are attending Superbooth 2025 in Berlin. If you're coming to the event, stop by and test the Redshift 6. You can find us at Bungalow B020 in the Bungalowdorf."

BAF 2025: Supercritical Redshift 6
video upload by sonicstate
"At the Buchla and Friends booth, we caught up with Jussi at Supercritical who demonstrated the *Redshift 6*. This synthesizer, recently made available for purchase, had already been shipping since December. As Jussi explained to us, the Redshift 6 is a six-voice polyphonic synthesizer, each voice featuring a digitally controlled DCO oscillator and a custom-designed filter. The instrument is largely analog, with the exception of its digital effects, allowing for some intriguing sound possibilities.
A standout feature of the Redshift 6 is its extensive modulation capabilities and the ability to generate up to 16 oscillators per voice, resulting in a total of 96 oscillators. The device's filter topology can mimic various classic styles, such as ladder, Roland, and 303 filters, with the potential to introduce new characters over time.
Jussi also shared that the Redshift 6 retails for $1,349."

Redshift 6 - Supersaw Tweak
video upload by Supercritical Synthesizers
"Redshift 6’s Demon Core Oscillator can create up to 16 analogue oscillators per voice. In this synth tweak we use the Demon Core Oscillators Stack feature to create a dense oscillator stack for a supersaw trance sound.
The stereo effect is created by modulating amplifiers panning with voice, so that each new note gets played on the opposite side of the stereo field. The filter cutoff is modulated with slow LFO to create movement to the arpeggiator lines.
Effects in this demo are external effects. All variations from the theme start dry, and the amount of effect is shown in the video."
