skinnerbox - m4l analog style microtonal step sequencer
YouTube Published on Aug 28, 2012 by iftahbox
http://www.facebook.com/myskinnerbox
"toying around with a self written M4L 9 step analog style microtonal (via pitch bend) step sequencer (the lower DIY controller) controlling the vermona mono lancet. the left side ft. pitch/gate/velocity controllers, while the right side is an additional parameter step-seq controlling dry/wet of a reverb. both sequencers can play forwards/backwards/back-forth and have variable pattern length. there is also swing control and interpolation between the steps of the midi parameter seq on the right.
the upper controller which controls the drums is the "sbx 16x4x3" which has its own video in youtube.
this will probably be published one day, so stay tuned."

"took a while but its finally done, the sbx spaceship is ready! cliplauncher on the right monome, mlr clone + realtime step recording drums on the left monome, and on the middle an arduino based self built controller(still missing some caps for the potentiometers tho!). this is a very early demo, all done with live + max4live.

skinnerbox diy arduino based stepsequencer
YouTube via iftahbox.
"info/code/schematics at http://openskinnerbox.blogspot.com/
the 16x4x3 is a our brand-new diy chase-light step sequencer... based on the mighty arduino and works like charm! the sounds are mainly samples except of decaying SD/HH which are being generated in the luvly microtonic drummachine..
this video is merely a technical demonstration and does not pretend to be musical in any fashion ;)
