"Mochika Analog Sequencer Synth - Rhythm Synthesizer By Atomo Synthesizers
Visit my blog.

Make insane effect loops, cool phrases, fat basslines or crazy percusion rhythms, change the sound in real time by tweeking the knobs on stage or in studio or connect it to your favorite effects (delay, flange, etc, etc)and create a wide sort of rhytm textures and soundscapes with this beautiful lighted analog sequencer synth box.

Hi!! This auction is for a beautyful hand built Analog sequencer synthesizer created by Alfredo Aliaga for Atomo Labs.

This synth features one square and saw waveform VCO (voltage controled oscillator) with a huge pitch range, from subsonic to ultrasonic sound

One square and triangle waveform LFO (low frequency oscillator), that modulates the VCO for the vibrato effect creating old school arcade Atari-like sounds.

White noise generator that triggers the VCO and can create percussion like sounds.
8 step Sequencer with note on/off switch and pitch knob for each step

It features a 1/4 inch audio output, 1/4 inch CV Output (to control other analog gear), 1/4 inch Clock input (gate in, to sync whit an external analog clock, like another analog sequencer), 1/4 inch Gate/clock output.(to sync whit other analog gear using the Mochika's internal clock)

Also the instrument is ligthed with 2 super bright green leds that indicates the LFO and Sequencer Rate, and 8 blue ultra bright leds to indicate the step that is being played. Very useful when you play it on a dark stage.

The Analog Sequencer is packed in a cool cristal acrilic case that shows all the hand made analog circuitry.

The instrument is powered directly from 110V or 220V AC, rubber feet, and comes with operation manual.

Dimensions: 9 inch(W), 7 inch(D), 3 1/4 inch(H. incuded rubber feet and knobs)

Nora: The Sequel - Better than the original!

Remember Nora? YouTube via burnellyow. via swisstony.
"Features all-new footage and more duets. Better than the original! This is not a trick taught to Nora. She began sitting at the piano at about one-year-old. She's three now. She plays only when the mood strikes her, which is usually several time a times a day for short periods.

CD Now Available! The Laurel Canyon Animal Company just released a CD called "Cat On The Keys," and the featured track is called "Nora's Song." It uses Nora's piano playing from her two videos and puts it together with a jazz band. The song is super cool! Check it out at http://nora.petcds.com

$2 from the sale of each CD is being donated in Nora's name to Best Friends Animal Society http://bestfriends.org"

RA MOOG Minimoog

images via this auction

From the first round of minis with the clear mod and pitch wheel. This is from when Bob Moog still owned the company. You can find some basic history on Moog Music on Wikipedia and of course the Analog Days book in the Synth Books section on the right of this site. I'm actually surprised there isn't more on Wikipedia.

The BIN? 5.450,00 Euro or... $7,812.33 USD.

Yamaha CS70M

"Some Vangelis sounds from the CS70M, lots of people complain about this synth, that it not sounds like the big brother CS80, i think it does a little.."

"More Vangelis (Blade Runner Blues)"

Casio SK-1

YouTube via easyflow
"Casio SK-1 recorded and arranged with Acid 4.0. No additional sounds were used, just the build in effects of Acid and multi track recording."

Update: "This track is also available in stereo..."

EVI Serge by vgermuse Part 2

YouTube via matrixsynth. Sent my way via Todd Barton, aka vgermuse.
Part2: 2:15 demo. Follow-up to Part 1 here.
"This time instead of a single patch on the EWV2000 I am scrolling through a handful of original sounds along with the Serge. Enjoy and Thanks!"

"The EVI 2000 analog synth module of the EVI 1000 is producing long sustained sine tones which are now and then sent through a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator. The EVI is triggering a patch in the Serge that is creating random pitches and drastic timbral shifts. Hope you enjoy."

Steve Jansen Slope

I thought this was interesting. Stretta commented in this post that Steve Jansen's newest album uses artwork from danmcp. Pretty cool.

Update: I just noticed that if you refresh Steve Janen's website it will rotate through different images and style. Below are two others that came up for reference. There are more. Way to boost traffic. ;)
