Prophet-6 Synth, Pitch Wheel Problem

Published on Sep 5, 2015 Bob Gomez

"The Pitch Wheel only lowers the pitch. Pushing the wheel forward has no effect. I adjust the Pitch wheel settings, following the instruction Manual. I have contacted support. Hope there is an easy fix. Has been like this since purchase."

Update: re-calibration of the synth took care of the problem.

Flame Talking Synth and Synthrotek Audio Interface

Published on Sep 5, 2015 FatSynthDude

"I got bit by the modular bug. Hard. This vid is a test of a few of those toys. All of this was recorded with the Synthrotek audio interface into my Android phone. The most prominent module in the video is the Flame Talking Synth being modulated by an Oberkorn, Vostok, Kraftzwerg, Galilean Moons, and f(H) Imp. Later in the video, a Frequency Central Digital Oscilator is introduced being modulated by the Galilean Moons and being run through the Dave Smith DSM01. These are being mixed into the Vostok's mixer section, through a Synthrotek Eko, and attenuated by a Malekko VCA before being sent to the audio interface. This new interface makes recording on my phone a lot more quick and clean so expect more videos in the future!"

New Dawn (1994)

Published on Sep 5, 2015 RaveAngst

"This Patch is developed from a memory of a Time in 1994 when i was some kind of homeless for a few months, because of a fire in the house where i've lived. Some good friends gave me shelter in there Home and we've listened a lot to all this lovely intelligent Techno/Ambient/Electronica stuff from this time, especially to Selected Ambient Works part 2 from Apex Twin, wich i've bought during my homelessness, as you can hear with the Pad in the Patch.
Sorry for my bad English and maybe leave a comment if you like the Patch!

Drums n' Stuff are from my Modular, Pad Sound is from my Emu and Baseline from my TB303. Everything is sequenced from my Octatrack and ER-101.

Roland Alpha Juno-2 atmospheric sounds

Published on Sep 5, 2015 SynthMania

"The classic Alpha Juno-2 is often used for its 'hoovers' and other hard dance sounds. But there's also a gentler, ambient side. This video explores that side, using an old faithful - the MidiVerb II - for the reverberations."
