"Had the chance to get hold of a used Prophet 12 Module and thought I'd put it to the test with the first 25 of my Patches...Including my Bladerunner sound that I do on everything! I wasn't going to bother getting a Prophet 12 as I was a bit of an Analogue Only type of guy, however I've completely changed my mind, since having the Novation Peak.

Anyway, have done Patches that are 'Analogue' in nature on the Prophet 12 Module and while it only has delays (I love FX) it is a very capable Synth. I'll probably get into more 'Digital' sounds in the next Batch."

"Now set up in my new Studio and recently picked up a KingKorg and thought i'd do some patches on it. For a purely Digital Synth or software in a box, it's a surprisingly good Synth.

Had to use 2 Unison voices for most things to get some "width" but it handles it really well. Anyway, I'm doing a full Bank of patches for it...here are the first 25 which are mainly Pad and evolving sounds, but there's also splits and stacked patches."

"30 of my own Patches on the Dave Smith/Tom Oberheim Synth. A few are tweaked presets, but most of them are from scratch. It's a very diverse sounding Synth and I just love the 12db Filter. I've only used the on-board FX and while some may prefer the FX turned off, for me I made them with the FX in mind."

"Sorry about the Flashing lights - So, I had an A1 not long after they came out, but due to lack of room in my old Room, it was always in the way, so ended up leaning up against the Wall, so I sold it.

Recently got hold of one again and have made 100 Patches and 50 Performance Presets as well. All have been made from the front panel from scratch and not using the Mutator/Randomizer.

Pads, Strings, Leads etc. Performances are layers and splits from the Patches, but also new 3 or 4 Oscillator Sounds.

Here are the first 33 Presets I have made in Patch Mode."

It's been almost 3 years since I brought out Evolution Vol 2 for the Sequential OB6 Synthesizer and wasn't sure I'd do another, however Sequential have updated the OB6 with the "Vintage Knob" feature, from the Prophet 5 Rev 4 Synth. After playing around with it, I decided to do another Bank and while it is subtle with some sounds, with others, it can really make a difference.

In this set I've also focused a little more on making Patches using Osc 2 as a Modulation Source and delving deeper. While there is the odd "Vintage" patch, it's more about getting new Synthesizer sounds."
