"Mono Lancet ’15 might be small-sized device, despite it is a bona fide analogue synthesizer.
Two oscillators and a noise generator are the foundation for its sound. Together with the musical lowpass filter and VCA it’s capable of producing warm and precious sounds full of character.
Beside its audio qualities Mono Lancet ’15 has a dead simple and intuitive user interface. Each parameter has its own control. We are absolutely convinced that you will quickly learn how to realize your sounds with Mono Lancet ’15 without thinking about what you do.
Expandable with Modular Dock
Mono Lancet ’15’s functionality can even be enhanced using the optional Modular Dock eurorack module. It offers various in- and out-connections to the individual sections of the synthesizer. With just a few additional modules you can multiply the strong sound base of Mono Lancet ’15.
Mono Lancet ’15 is manufactured in our Elektroakustischen Manufaktur in historical Vogtland. For us it is not only a piece of high-quality analogue technology but rather a musical instrument, handmade with love and passion."
We thought it'd be fun to combine a Vermona DRM1MKIII, with a Mono Lancet '15 running through a Jomox T-Resonator II, all sequenced by an Arturia Beatstep Pro!
Got a request or an idea for a Combination you'd like to see in a quick jam? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
Vermona DRM1 MKIII is a true analog drum synthesizer, and it's worth pointing out to those unfamiliar that it has no onboard sequencer or patch memory: trigger it via MIDI and tweak all the sound controls in real time via its 72 knobs. Different drum types offer a different range of controls, from the FM parameters present on its three multipurpose DRUM channels to the onboard reverb and noise generator available to the SNARE and CLAP channels to the low pass filter on the SNARE and the two CYMBAL channels. https://www.kraftmusic.com/brands/ver...
The Vermona Mono Lancet '15 is a monophonic analog desktop synthesizer module with two oscillators, a 24 dB/octave lowpass filter, envelope generator, and LFO section with 6 waveforms (versus 3 on the original Mono Lancet). Mono Lancet '15's knob-per-function interface provides intuitive control over its warm, characterful analog sound. In addition, Mono Lancet '15 is expandable via the separate Modular Dock eurorack module. https://www.kraftmusic.com/brands/ver...
The T-Resonator is something like an M-Resonator + Digital Delay. But you can select 8 different delay algorithms, each with different delays and different feedbacks and modulate them even with an LFO. Delays reach from less than a millisecond to 1 second, range and structure is depending on the algorithm. The delay feedback comes across the analog filters, of course. You can create gaining analog echoes, "klingon parties" by extremely feedbacked wave guide algorithm and much more. By the analog feedback everything sounds organic. The screaming analog feedbacks can delay themselves and thereby form new sound patterns. https://www.kraftmusic.com/brands/jom...
The Arturia BeatStep Pro controller & sequencer is designed as both a powerful hands-on hardware sequencing environment and pad / trigger controller. With two fully independent sequencers, an additional drum sequencer, and the ability to record real-time or use the step buttons for a classic drum machine workflow, BeatStep Pro is one impressive step sequencer. A built-in looper, randomizer, and swing settings offer numerous performance possibilities. BeatStep Pro's controller mode lets you launch clips in a DAW, play drum sounds in a module, and more. Whether you need to connect to MIDI, USB, CV/gate, or DIN sync gear, BeatStep Pro delivers total creative control. https://www.kraftmusic.com/brands/art...

"Verona Mono Lancet 15 Unboxing & first sound This is a short video of unpacking the Vermon Mono Lancet 15 mono synthesizer and the first audio in combination with the arp with Logic X"
"The spring has come and with her came the warmth..!!! Vermona mono Lancet 15 processing on SchwerkraftMaschine from Tegeler Audio Manufaktur in Vari Tube Compression. It becomes really thick and after switching on the bypass is missing a characteristic warm but Mono Lancet still remains a great synth.
I recommend to anyone who is looking for a very hot compressor. has 11 mode and can be used in any situation, tracks, groups or bus master.."
"Quickly looking at the Vermona Mono Lancet Modular Dock, when you connect it to your desktop Synthesizer Vermona Mono Lancet 15 , both oscillators are taken over by the module, I added here the sequences from my modular synthesizer from Pico SEQ-Erica Synths sequencer and the delay from Black Hole DSP-Erica Synths.
Simply melody ,mixing two oscilltors with delay ."
"Finally able to do a new video and with new gear: the Vermona Mono Lancet '15, very nice synth!
Also the EHX Memory Toy on the volca keys sounds very nice in this one I think. Let me know what you think!

"A little slower this time. 4 synths running sequenced lines with the Virus on pad duty. Finally got the iPad hooked up to run Conductr too. Neat little app that certainly takes up less space than Push! Space I don't have.....
Gear used :-
Arturia Microbrute - Sequence 1
Roland JX-03 - Sequence 2
Roland JU-06 - Sequence 3
Vermona Mono Lancet 15 - Sequence 4
Access Virus Ti - Sub Pad
Ipad running Conductr - Clip launching and mixer."
"Downtempo Digital House Groove
Part of the Arctic Times EP.
Hi folks,
This my first track produced with the OP1. I used the mono lancet simply to generate a raw square wave that I sampled with the OP1 and then used as the basis for the bass line. All the synthesis takes place within the OP1. The performance is recorded in one take using the album function. This thing is dope.
Minor noise removal, normalisation and compression in Audacity.
Video shot in Grenoble, 07.01.2017"
You might remember back in October it was announced the Vermona '14 was entering production. It appears production has completed and there will only be a total of 222 units available. You can find previous posts on the Vermona '14 including video here.
"With the completion of the ’14 Analogsynthesizer, a long fostered dream becomes true: The design and realization of an uncompromising synthesizer for instrumentalists.
Equality of haptics and sound
To us, expressive play means a balanced relation between melodic virtuosity and sound shaping. In our ’14 Analogsynthesizer, these factors unite in full equality: Keyboard, pitch- and modulation-wheels are incomplete without the additional controls and switches of the remaining control surface. These offer direct access to each individual sound shaping parameter of the synthesis engine.
The ’14 Analogsynthesizer is perfectly suited for distinctive solo and bass sounds including dynamic and individual sonic variations which are completely under your control at any time.
Uncompromising circuit implementation
The components being responsible for the sound-generation and -shaping are based upon our proved and tested circuits of PERfourMER MKII and Mono Lancet ’15. However, we did not just carry over these circuits but have adapted and refined these specifically for the ’14 Analogsynthesizer. Besides stability and musicality, we paid great attention to an intuitive and practical scaling of each and every sound parameter.
The ’14 Analogsynthesizer follows the classic subtractive synthesis structure: a versatile lowpass molds the sound-source being created by two powerful analog oscillators. Typical for Vermona instruments, the sound is warm, round, classy and offers musical authority in the mix.
Handmade in our electroacoustic manufacture in Germany
There a hundreds of work steps from the assembly of the circuit boards to the final, rigorous quality assurance of the finished instrument. Without exception, these steps are carried out with skilled craftsmanship and expert precision in our Elektroakustische Manufaktur in Erlbach, Germany.
Each ’14 Analogsynthesizer is an outstanding instrument and leaves our manufacture as one of just 222 units."
"With circuits adapted from the PERfourMER MKII and Mono Lancet ’15, the '14 was built with stability and musicality in mind, with special attention given to approachability and stellar sound quality.
The '14 Analog synthesizer is a classic subtractive synth: a beefy lowpass filter shapes the sound of the two powerful analog oscillators. Like Vermona's other analog synth options, the sound is markedly warm and round, demanding attention and adapting smoothly to a variety of genres.
It has 2 VCOs (sine, saw, rectangle), mixer, LPF filter (12, 18 and 24 db), 2 envelopes (ADSR), LFO (saw up, saw down, square, triangle, sine, S&H), VCO Modulation,, arpeggiator, MIDI and various other features.
In this demo I showcase some sounds from the Vermona 14 including noise type patches, sample & hold, arpeggiator, LFO tweaking and more. The Vermona 14 is a very high quality subtractive analog monosynth with great sounds and capabilities."
"All the knobs and switches are firm, the signal is nice and hot with no noise. It really is a lovely sounding synth, the filter is exceptional IMO, wonderful harmonics !"
"Watch a video made by Fabien Zocco for musician, label runner and festival curator Franck Vigroux's track, '2024' exclusive to The Wire.
Speaking with Brian Morton in The Wire 364, Franck Vigroux – while influenced by GRM and composer/philosophers like Bernard Parmegiani, Xenakis, Penderecki and Morton Feldman – describes himself as part of a generation of composers in France 'who’ve been trying to regenerate music theatre or hybrid forms. I can’t really analyse my ‘philosophy’, but I am particularly obsessed by the intrinsic nature of sound, which surprises me constantly. So I spend my time in the studio searching for sounds, using all sorts of machines and devices. For instance, I’ve just finished a record where I simply played an old guitar through an amplifier with very little additional in the way of effects but with a range of tones and overtones [accordages] – which then become the object of meticulous research.'
Alongside curating Les Instants Sonores music and arts festival in Mende, southern France and the White Noises festival in the Paris suburb of Arcueil, since 2003 Vigroux has run the D’Autres Cordes label, releasing work by Samuel Sighicelli, Elliott Sharp, Matthew Bourne and others. Vigroux also regularly collaborates with vocalist Ben Miller as Transistor, video artist Antoine Schmitt as Tempest and with Reinhold Friedl and Mika Vainio.
Vigroux and Reinhold Friedl’s Tobel is released by La Muse En Circuit. Les Instants Sonores takes place 11–15 June.
