"In the beginning, there was only the Void, and within it were born the Shapers—beings of pure energy whose thoughts shaped the universe. They wove galaxies like webs, breathed life into stars, and created countless worlds inhabited by wondrous creatures. But in the very act of creation, a flaw was born, a disharmony the Shapers failed to foresee. Their creations, imbued with a spark of self-awareness, began to deviate from the intended plan, evolving in unpredictable directions. At first, these deviations were minor, but over time they gained momentum, giving rise to chaos and destruction. The Shapers tried to intervene, to direct, to correct, but their control weakened with each passing moment. The universe, once their perfect creation, became a rebellious force, devouring itself. Stars faded, planets disintegrated, and life, once so vibrant and diverse, died in agony. In the end, the Creators, exhausted and broken, watched as their universe collapsed into a point, returning to the very Void from which they had once emerged. And with it, they themselves vanished, leaving behind only a silent nothingness, an eternal testimony to the futility of even the most powerful plans.

"Rain pounded the neon signs, blurring them into oily stains on the wet pavement. The bar smelled of cheap whiskey and despair. I searched for her, the woman with eyes the color of old film, who whispered of "Transcendence"—a sound wave capable of tearing apart the fabric of reality. They said she created it from fragments of forgotten melodies, the whispers of space, and the pain of broken hearts. When I finally found her, she was already broadcasting "Transcendence." The sound penetrated my bones, dissolving the boundaries between me and the world. I closed my eyes, and the city disappeared. In its place was a forest of crystalline trees, and then an ocean where the sky was reflected in every drop. Each wave of "Transcendence" transported me to a new reality, increasingly strange and alien. I lost track of time, lost myself. Now I simply drift between worlds, a prisoner of endless echoes, forever trapped in a sonic loop created by a mad woman with eyes the color of old film. And I know there is no escape. There is only the next sound, the next reality, the next loss.

"Rain beat against the grimy glass of my office, as if the darkness itself were trying to force its way in. I sat, leaning against the battered back of my chair, watching the city drown in this invisible energy. They called it dark matter, but that was just a word, a pathetic attempt to describe something that had long since ceased to be mere matter. It breathed, pulsated, permeated the edges of reality, distorting the angles of perception and memory. People changed, became... different. Not evil, not mad, but simply *not the same*. Their faces seemed to blur, losing their clarity, until they became masks reflecting something ancient and alien. I saw it absorbing light, not simply extinguishing it, but reprocessing it, turning it into something new, something that defies description. And I knew that sooner or later she would get to me, swallow me up in her bottomless dark ocean, turning me into another brick in the foundation of something incomprehensible, something that would come when the universe got tired of being the universe.

"Cold sand creaked beneath limbs I couldn't remember having acquired. Metal and flesh, woven into an inconceivable construct, pulsed with a dim, inner light. The planet was dead, scorched to the bone, only rusted rock and endless dunes on the horizon. I didn't know who I was, what I was, or how I had ended up here. My memories held only fragments of alien sensations, echoes of long-forgotten knowledge that didn't add up to a coherent picture. I was a mechanism, not crafted by hand, but grown like a mushroom on the rotting wood of space. My purpose? Nonexistent. My past? Emptiness. I simply wandered, driven by an instinct I couldn't explain, across this lifeless land, like a ghost forgotten even by death. And with every step, with every breath, I felt this planet, this emptiness, creeping into me, erasing the last vestiges of what could have been.

"Diogenes' Lantern" is a 12-voice drone synthesizer. However, it is capable of generating noise, ambient textures, and melodies alike.
The synth features a unique control system designed to eliminate the need for a thousand knobs to manage every parameter; instead, it works as follows:
One knob sets the value for the first oscillator, while a second knob determines the *offset*—how much the value of each subsequent oscillator differs from the one preceding it.
This method is used to control all parameters: frequency, waveforms, and signal combination types.

"The PRIBOR 32 @priborpedals is a very rare and small-circulation synthesizer. It was created by engineer Vladimir Kabanov. The project was launched about three years ago and then about 10 synthesizers were created.

Then the project was stopped for about a year or two. But at the numerous requests of those who wished, including me, pre-order and production of about ten more devices were opened again. Engineer Kabanov improved and reworked the synth and so his second version appeared. On these joys, I created this video for engineer Kabanov when I received my PRIBOR 32. Thank you for responding and doing this!!!"

"Just the other day I received a long-awaited parcel from Rostov-on-Don from Evgeny Carlo. This is a fully analog eight-voice synthesizer for a DIY project. Evgeny has invested a lot of time and effort in its creation, for which I am very grateful to him and wish him success in his wonderful work! At the moment, only 6 synthesizers have been made.
