New synth day. I’ve been waiting patiently for this to arrive and it was worth every second.

Such a beautiful lo-fi melancholic sound with a load of modulation. I fell in love with the sound when I came across the Gene synths website last year.

Great solid build quality and probably the best knobs of any synth I own ❤️

The interface is unique and encourages exploration and experimentation.

Can’t wait to send it through a looper.

"A look at the SP 1200 which is a legendary sampling drum machine first released by E-mu Systems in 1987.

It was released in the 70's, and proved so popular that it became one of the few great products 'PAiA' manufactured at that time and is 'famous' for producing mind bending-great-sounding, super lo-fi, 70's strings/ Si-Fi /Sound effects and eerie Movie Effects! Hand tune 'Gritty" 'Moog"like 'LFO' effects ...Phat Phat Phat with a "Thick as a brick" sweepable chorus/Flanged sweep....The "Thingz" refers to the more percussive piano synth section. The built-in Phlanger (yes, with a P) "Modulation" section enhances the rich analog strings with a sci-fi warble, creating very dramatic strings.!..."

ANimALOGICA Bologna Synth Meeting è il primo meeting in Italia che raccorda differenti realtà legate ai sintetizzatori e agli strumenti musicali elettronici dove musicisti, organologi, professionisti del settore, collezionisti e appassionati si riuniscono per un momento di incontro e di condivisione, di scambio di opinioni ed emozioni legate alla liuteria e alla musica elettronica.
Non è una mostra, non è una fiera, è appunto un meeting dove ogni partecipante porta uno o più strumenti da condividere con gli altri partecipanti per l’intera giornata del meeting. Si suona, si parla, si discute di musica e strumenti.
