The patches cover a variety of bass tones: vintage and modern, deep and bright, soft and punchy, long and short, static and rhythmical.

🎛 All patches are Velocity-sensitive. The ModWheel enhances expressiveness by adding motion and tonal variation—brightening the sound, introducing vibrato, shifting timbre, or adding extra movement for dynamic and engaging performance.

Aftertouch introduces distortion, detune, or resonance.

Father & Son - 70-ies/90-ies Electro Jam

video upload by Jose's Vintage Keys

"Our very first father-and-son studio jam!

Roderick and I went live with the OBX, Moog Muse, Vermona Perfourmer and Roland TR-8—exploring sounds, building grooves and simply enjoying the moment.

The complete jam was performed live and mastered directly to Revox tape for extra warmth, character and analogue glue.

No fixed plan—just two generations, a studio full of instruments and a shared love of electronic music."

Partials & Discrepancies | Laid-Back Jam with MPE + Unusable Engineering FX

video upload by Unusable Engineering

"A slow, fairly minimal jam that appeared at the end of a testing session while I was working on improvements across the Unusable Engineering full suite.

There are only three sounds.

The pulse / heartbeat-like rhythm comes from Logic’s Drum Synth, processed with Spectral Pressure Chamber and a static Frequency Guillotine setting used mainly for EQ shaping and stereo spread.

The main keyboard sound is Partials & Discrepancies. It is a four-slot patch built from very few partials, but with constant movement between the slot states. That runs through a stereo tremolo sequence in Binaural Modulator, subtle stepped movement from Frequency Guillotine, a slowly modulated Geometry Delay, and a similarly slow-moving Geometry Reverb.

The high drone comes from Curves & Membranes, using two currently unreleased features and some portamento movement. It runs through a slewing Frequency Guillotine sequence, a deeper modulated Geometry Delay, and another slow Geometry Reverb setting.

Partials & Discrepancies is being played from both a Moog Muse over regular MIDI and a ROLI Seaboard Rise 2 using MPE at the same time.

I have started liking this combination quite a lot. The regular keyboard gives you the predictable part of the performance, while the MPE controller can add pressure, slide, and more expressive movement on top of it without having to commit the whole patch to one playing style.

Truth be told, most of my testing sessions ends with something like this. It is a nice way to clear the head.

Moog Muse Moog Grandmother and Buchla Tiptop Audio improvisation

video upload by VoxModula Archives

"Today I had fun with the Moog Muse Moog Grandmother and Buchla Tiptop Audio improvisation. It had been quite a while since I last powered up the Buchla modular. Today I turned it on and simply modulated the timbre of one of the 259t's VCOs, which I used as a rhythmic foundation. Then I found a patch on the Grandmother and another on the Muse, and everything seemed to work together, so I ended up doing this short improvised jam, recorded directly as it was.

If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer them. I hope you enjoy these four minutes of analog sounds.

The MooggGrandmother and the Buchla go both into the Strimon El Capistan, the Moog Muse into the Flamma FS02, a very great sounding budget friendly pedal."

Moog Muse dynamic improvisation

video upload by VoxModula Archives

"This short dynamic improvisation with the Moog Muse uses only two modules of the instrument: an LFO and the mixer. The Moog Muse has a very powerful mixer section, and by using only this section we can shape our sound, giving it any kind of nuance. I enjoy hearing the timbral variation created by increasing and decreasing the volume of the two voices; the result is a very powerful dynamic variation."

Memorymoog Factory Presets Recreated for Moog Muse (Free Download)

video upload by Moog Music

"100 Memorymoog factory presets, now reimagined for Muse. https://www.moogmusic.com/the-wave/ne...

Recreated by Eric Frampton, a lifelong Memorymoog owner who has maintained and performed on the instrument for over 35 years, this collection faithfully rebuilds the entire Memorymoog factory library inside Moog Muse. In this video, hear side-by-side comparisons and explore how these classic sounds translate to Muse’s modern workflow and performance controls.

Using Muse’s modern architecture, each sound goes beyond the original with velocity, aftertouch, macro controls, effects, and expanded modulation, while preserving the three-oscillator polyphonic character that made the Memorymoog legendary.

Sleepy Ambient with Prophet 12, Moog Muse, Pro 2 and Eurorack Modular

video upload by copenhagennoiselab

"This is a live session with some of my favourite synthesisers at the moment. The slow noise is a noise generator into Frap Tools Fumana filterbank, modulated by a Pam's Pro Workout and effected by Empress Euroburo Zoia and Strymon Starlab. The rhythmic noise is a sequenced patch on the Sequential Pro 2 through a Boss SL20 slicer. The Moog Muse is playing a slow pattern arpeggio through an Eventide Modfactor and on top of that I play the Prophet 12 through an Eventide H9 (blackhole algoritm).

This is an unedited take on what I usually do in my studio to relax. Usually it is never recorded. But as it is friday, and a new year has started, let's just do it a bit different, ey?

Outside we have more snow than I ever experienced here in Denmark, so the music kind of reflects that cold but cosy mood.

I hope you enjoy it."

MDLR JAM 02 - Live 5U Modular Session

video upload by rimela

"Live jam on the 5U system. This take focuses on exploring harmonic structures. Moog Muse provides gentle pads, while the 5U system shapes movement and tonal shifts. Recorded in one continuous pass."

MLDR JAM 01 - Live 5U Modular Session

video upload by rimela

"Live one-take recording on my 5U modular system.
Drums and sequencer triggers are driven by the Roland TR-505, clocking the patch and shaping the rhythmic flow. Pads and lead lines come from the Moog Muse.
Captured in a single pass - no edits, just the system as it behaved today."

Ty Dolla $ign | Find Your Sound | Moog Muse & Messenger

video upload by Moog Music

"When Ty Dolla $ign walks into the studio, anything can happen.

Before trends or templates, Ty explains that Moog synthesizers were the sound behind the records that shaped him — and the instruments he dreamed of finding underneath the Christmas tree.

For Ty, finding your sound isn’t about chasing something new. It’s about spending time with the tools that speak to you, learning them deeply, and allowing your own voice to emerge. It’s a process rooted in curiosity, patience, and the belief that when you listen closely enough, the message becomes clear."
