Roland SR-JV80-11 Techno Collection Demo

video upload by Panu M Savolainen

"Multitracked demo of Roland SR-JV80-11 Techno Collection expansion. All sounds are from Techno expansion. Card was installed to Roland JV-2080, some additional reverb is coming from Eventide Space. As usual, there is few pictures of old studios from early 2000's.

Yamaha RM1x Demo

video upload by Panu M Savolainen

"Multitracked demo of the Yamaha RM1x. No internal sequencer was used, so this is more of a sound demo than a demonstration of the unit's sequencing capabilities. All sounds are based on internal presets, tweaked to my own taste. External reverb from an Eventide Space was used on some patches.

Kawai K5000R Demo Part 2

video upload by Panu M Savolainen

Part 1 here

"Multitracked demo part 2 of Kawai K5000R. Additional reverb Eventide Space and delay has been used. These are factory patches tweaked with Macro controller. Controller looks pretty bad, but is fully working. Synth is missing power button cap, screen is worn and diskdrive won't work (should have usb-reader somewhere). Previously I have owned K5000R without controller but also K5000S and K5000W. Later ones has pretty good keyboards in my opinions...

Roland Jupiter-Xm Demo

video upload by Panu M Savolainen

"Multitracked demo of the Roland Jupiter-Xm. All sounds come from factory presets, with only the onboard effects used.I spent very little time with the Jupiter-Xm and didn't even have time to take decent photos.

From what I noticed during my short test, its sound quality was on par with the individual Boutique synths."

Kodamo EssenceFM MK1 Demo Part 1

video upload by Panu M Savolainen

"I had chance to have Kodamo EssenceFM MK1 for while. After I played this one, I noticed a bit annoying shimmer fx, so couldn’t remove it and re-record. Didn’t record the MIDI notes, just straight to audio. A bit Eventide Space for additional reverb."

Roland SR-JV80-06 Dance Demo

video upload by Panu M Savolainen

"Multitracked demo of Roland SR-JV80-06 Dance expansion. All sounds are from Dance expansion. Card was installed to Roland JV-1080 so all the effects etc. from Super-JV. I didn’t find JV-1080 pictures from the 90’s but it was fully loaded back then and centerpiece for long time. Dance card was released in 1992 if I’m correct."
