"Two banana synths patched together, sent into the 2 channel mixer with an effects loop via the Etherealizer.

Just a simple desktop noodle for nothing more than it was fun.

DK sends CV from Envelope B to the blue CV input on the Peterlin. This creates some synchronised pitch variations. Output from the Sidekick to the Etherealizer is via the Cue channels. The little mixer allows me to mix and mute the synths as well as introduce effects with more control for a small basic set up."

Note the above demos and following description are from March 5, 2025. I spotted the Elfin in Hainbach's A Hundred Suns, posted below. There appears to be two synths, an Elfin-08: 8-Voice Functional Prototype Synthesizer, and an Elfin-04 Polysynth.

Here, we're using quadchained midiphy zetaSIDs with hardware unison detune to slightly thicken the mix :). The MIDI ASID signal is provided by a midiphy nexusMIDI expander connected to an Elektron TM-1 MIDI Interface.

Creating a grunge lofi jam with Semimodular banana synths.

The DK is sending CV to the blue inputs of the Peterlin which gets the squelching output of the Peterlin to follow the envelopes of the DK.

The DK is sending clock to the PO33 to get the beats in time. I’m able to use the DK as master by sending the clock to the PO33 and the and CV to the Peterlin.

The QI is being used for a simple delay and Chorus on the Dk."

DK shift registers are providing the bed sequence. The range of notes in the sequences are created using the Slew circuits acting on pitch. The DAC outputs are patched into the Slew circuits. The Swarm provides a nice detuned pad using the Freeze function. The Gene GX has been tuned into the Dk and the Swarm. I’ve dialled down the modulation a little but i’ve kept the lofi grit because I’m addicted to it.

I love playing the Gene GX and I can never get enough of the DK. They both have such unique sounds.

"Showing off the new Urano VCF53 a bit :)
In this video, both filter slots are populated with VCF53, so it gets four channels of single VCF53 analog filters. VCF53 is a further engineered VCF51, made with discrete parts only."
