Details:
"This auction is for the 6 PAiA modulars cases in the picture, number from 1 to 6. These are part of my collection that I am selling. Modules have been tested and here are the details of the 6 systems. I will also include 3 PAiA 4700 keyboards, one will have the computer system, the others CV. I will also include copies of the manuals for the modules so you can do a full restoration.
I have another system that I am keeping. If you'd like to hear and see what a PAiA can do, go to www.musicofsoftware.com and look in the video section. When these systems are calibrated up they sound very close to a moog modular.
system #1: these are all pretty much 2700 modules. most of them work. one or two dont or just need calibration.
system #2: requires external psu, jack included. this cabinet is painstakingly restored and calibrated. one of the VCO square outputs is not working. everything else is good.
system #3: all modules are not tested as they are not connected to the PSU rails. the reverb needs a tank. there is no reason to suspect they dont work - they look fine.
system #4: VCO 1 not working, VCF 1 needs calibration, EG leds not working (but the EG works), PSU led not working, Reverb need tank
system #5: the 2700 VCO triangle output is dead
system #6: VCO 1 not working, VCF needs calibration, sequencer mostly works but seems to have a short. this is typical of these sequencers as there is a lot of places where shorts can happen. a short doesnt damage anything, it just makes the step sequencing unreliable so i am sure its just a matter of seeking out the shorts and fixing them."
