KORG Kaoscillator Easter Egg

via TrondC on VSE:
"yup, you heard me Smile got this tip on the "kaossimilation" facebook-group, and thought I'd share

the trick:
press and hold down the Tap/BMP and the Loop Rec/Play as you turn the kaossilator on, and "dly" will appear on the little screen. release the buttons and it turns on like normal. then, set the loop length, and you will see there is now a 16 bar mode Smile a very fun feature, but for some reson there's no counter when you record anymore, which means you'll need to listen carefully to follow the loop length. Also, it won't let you overdub if you release the rec button, probably the feature takes up all of it's memory..

anyway, thought this was a fun thing to share, to breathe new life into your kaossilators"

"For the Synth Guys and Gals who take pictures of their cats and their babies. We've gone for a pregnant female praying mantis that lives in our yard.
She's awesome. She catches Bees and eats them.
She waits on a leaf on our baby lemon tree --- patiently waits and then BAM! IN THE FACE! A bee buzzes down to suck on some nectar and is trapped by the Mantis Lady (and their insides are deliciously eaten, as seen, in other photos) "

Nintendo DS plays Access Virus and Korg Radias

Nintendo DS plays Access Virus and Korg Radias from Toumal Rakesh on Vimeo.
"I was fooling around with DSMIDI via WiFi (http://dsmidiwifi.tobw.net) and used the DS to control both my Virus TI and my Korg Radias - over WiFi of course! I used the Korg KP3 to sample several passes until I had what you hear there, to which I played a few notes in the end. It's a bit like painting a room through the keyhole of a closed door ;)"
