NAMM: Bob Moog Foundation Executive Director’s Report from NAMM ‘09

"Bob Moog Archives on Display, NAMM Museum of Making Music Exhibit, a Sneak Preview at the Moogseum and much, much more!

Winter NAMM, held in Anaheim, CA each mid- January, is always a blast for the Bob Moog Foundation. There we meet up with old friends, make great industry contacts and generally spread the word about the Foundation’s progress. This year we had much to report! As you all know, we have been working steadily to preserve and protect Bob’s imperiled archives over the past year and a half. Our goal has always been to share these archives through exhibits, and eventually through out own museum."

NAMM: The Beat Kangz Beat Thang: A Neo-Seussian Overview / Demonstration

YouTube via gearwire
"Since the Beat Kangz know a thing or two about drum machines
, it's not a shocker that their Beat Thang comes loaded with some of the most convenient, cutting edge features you'll see in a beat box. They gained massive street cred working on the sounds on the Zoom SB-246, and they're given even more control with the creation of Beat Thang.
See more on Gearwire.com."
You might remember the Zoom SB-246 from this Winter NAMM 2006 post.
